0z euro is really ramping up this system. 987mb right over Rochester. I really like how much cold air is getting involved here. Now if this storm could only track a few hundred miles east!

Euro has been consistent with this solution over the last few days. It gives me hope!

Looks like a pretty boring Thanksgiving week to start. All the models seem to agree that the midweek storm will just be a glancing blow with no real precip or cold here in southern MN. Hopefully something will develop in the period of the 24th-26th!

Unfortunately it was an outlier. Would have been nice if it had verified.

0z GFS is trending this storm slower and stronger than previous runs. Maybe the NAM is onto something.

Just moved here last month. Hoping for an epic winter! In Oregon it is all about elevation. Don't have to worry about that as much here!

Thanks for the welcome! We did get a few flakes the morning of October 28th but that is it. Moved here from Oregon to get away from 40 degree rain all winter!

18z NAM is developing some impressive snow on the backside of the upcoming storm compared to earlier runs. Maybe this will be our first inch here in Rochester.
