Snowing in Spokane!! Not sticking, but I am still loving it!

Uhg! Dealing with the dreaded freezing rain/drizzle here in North Spokane … I will take a big fat “pass” 29.7 currently.

Ended up with an additional 7 to 8 inches of new snow here in North Spokane, I have about 12 to 14 inches on the ground. It has been fun! Warm up and rain comes tonight so going to be quite the mess.

I was very surprised to see the temp go from 22 to 37 degrees here in Spokane with moderate rain. Currently raining and pushing towards 38 here. All models showed snow here but looks to just rain for a while.

Very common occurance for that area. That is one thing I do not miss at all. Thus the swamp is in true form. I am basking in 21 degrees over here is Spokane. YES!!!

Great to meet you, and thanks for the info. I was not asking to meet you, I have been on this forum since 2014 and have not met anyone here nor asked. I am up in North Spokane currently but own property up in Chewelah and hope to build up there in the next year or two. Unless the world goes to hell in a hand basket under our current leaders. We shall see! Again nice to meet you and look forward to reading your posts on here.

Nice to see another person on here from Spokane. Moved here about a year and half ago from Bonney Lake WA. The long time local told me last winter was very mild and mellow here compared to usual. It appears this year is starting off similarly? Thanks, as I am still learning the weather here, as I had my old location down, but starting over here. Praying for a white Christmas!

Loving the trends this morning.

Hey everyone! Long time no post. Since moving over to Spokane it has been a glorious transition. We enjoyed snow off and on all day today. A high of 34 and white all day was wonderful. The four season thing here is so perfect for me. I do not ever worry about getting snow, as I know we will. It is just normal and common here and love it. I hope you all can experience and exceptional cold and snowy winter over there.!!

Had a high of 35 today and currently down below freezing 31... MY coldest days are the best yet to come. I will not have a high above freezing for at least a week or longer. WEEEEEeeeee!!

I bet Dominion Software could help with that. I am sure around 3 or 4 am it would spit out some crazy numbers. Could be quite a ride depending on if your a "Blue" cold fan or a "Red" warmth fan... Good times!

Looks Like Spokane may get the shaft based on a number of recent runs. Going to be bitter cold though at this point with highs in the teens. I have never experienced highs that cold. I am pumped, even if we get very little to no snow.

I have been biting my tongue about the up coming pattern, but over the last 5 years when the models spit out these extreme events, which have been many, they usually move north within the 3 day mark prior to the event along with moderating temps south of WA. This has been a very consistent pattern for many events now. I am sorry, but just something I hate to see, but been really true for awhile now.

I see tulips in our future.
