    Been doing some storm chasing over in ENE Oregon the past few days. Amazing how the cells will basically hit the same microclimates every evening they develop. This is a nice sunset.

    The weather is always exciting there no matter what time of year. And for some reason the humidity doesn't bother me at all, I actually kind of like having some texture in the air.

    Had a low of 46 here this morning. Already up to 74 so 80 should be achieved very easily. I really hate this season anymore and hope fall can start in August this year with some legitimate rains. But in reality it'll probably be hotter than this month and actually continue the string of ridiculously warm and dry summers.

    Started out with some light clouds around this morning but it has cleared out for the middle of the day. A sunny 75 and a comfortable breeze.

    81 here. Starting to wonder when it will ever rain again.

    Ski bowl wasn't able to open until we got those January storms and snowpack was very low at that point. IIRC we were still shy of normal snowpack when that pattern was winding down. We're lucky we got those storms, though.

    January was our only wetter than normal month this winter. It had a two to three week period of some good snowpack building with a persistent trough dropping in NW from Alaska. I do think that made it favor the northern areas, though.

    Still an intense drought persisting over parts of the area.

    Surprised it isn't in Washington County.
