  1. Alright, a comprehensive list of everything weather-wise Seattle has beaten Portland on. We'll start in 2006. 2006- Snow, heavy rain, Hanukkah Eve storm 2007- Heavy January snow, December flooding and snow, wind in December 2008- Wind in January, wind in December 2009- No clue, pretty tame year for both cities 2010- Surprise snow in November, windstorm in January, 2011- Windstorm in December 2012- January snowstorms, January wind, December wind 2013- Windstorm in November, cold snap/snow in December 2014- windstorm in January, windstorm in November, windstorm in September, windstorm in October, 2015- Windstorm in November, 2016- the bulk of the mid-October stuff, December snow was more substantial 2017- February 2017, you got freaking thundersnow that everyone in the USA cared about for a day in late February, November windstorm 2018- everything Portland wins: 2014- February snow, windstorm in December 2015- heavy rain 2016- ice storm 2017- snow
  2. If Seattle is due for a victory after all they've received, one might as well give up and leave Portland.
  3. That was meh for PDX. Great for the South Valley though! But, I'll compile a list.
  4. That's literally the only time we've outscored the Puget Sound. Our one win, I suppose.
  5. Oh, I swore the Puget Sound had some degree of drought, but I guess the early rain has helped out quite a bit. But it's true that you guys score every year in some regard, with PDX usually being left out.
  6. I mean, it doesn't help that our drought is far worse than yours and that you've taken most of the significant weather events of this year and of past years. I think at some point it's going to cause some frustration.
  7. For us 2018 has been a disaster. Minor snow in February, rather sad snowstorms anyways, flop of a windstorm in April, wildfire smoke galore in summer, terrible fall thus far. Oh well.
  8. Of course. A disappointment weather-wise is a more apt saying.
  9. I feel that with the disappointment that was/is 2018, he has a reason to complain.
  10. Alright, let's play a game. How many significant and interesting weather events can you name that happened this year?
  11. You want bitter, look at Seattlites on January 10th, 2017
  12. 2015 actually delivered a very intense windstorm in March, and a very heavy rain event on Halloween. Not to mention the December that eventually happened. But this year hasn't even managed a single interesting thing.
  13. Completely forgot about that one! That was cool (no pun intended). But most of these falls, even the lame ones, had an excellent year preceding it. Not this one, which increases the amount I abhor by that much.
  14. But I'd still say this is far and foremost the saddest fall in this decade, probably in longer. Every other fall contained some sort of significant weather event. 2006- Heavy rain, flooding 2007- Some heavy rain, crazy storms in late November 2008- heavy rain in early November 2009- huge storm mid October, windstorms in November 2010- also pretty lame, but a windstorm and a pineapple express 2011- several heavy rain events 2012- super heavy rain event and high winds in November 2013- windstorm for Seattle, late September wind and rainstorms 2014- windstorm, high east winds and early season ice storm 2015- heavy rain event on Halloween, windstorm in Seattle 2016- heavy rain event, Ides of October and preceding windstorms 2017- Heavy rain in late October, windstorm for Seattle, early season windstorm again for Seattle Nearly every fall produced at least one decent event since then. Not this one. I think it's in line with this year, which in general has been terrible.
  15. That's probably the first interesting thing to happen in this sad excuse for a fall.
  16. To them anything less than 11 inches is a joke. Tricycle weather.
  17. GFS shows multiple storms and a blast of Arctic Air into late next week.
  18. New here, is this "yelling" at Tim a running joke on here?
  19. That front was actually pathetic. Look like only Seattle got hit, because it obviously missed Portland (I have 0.05 inches in the gauge).
  20. Honestly they are kind of lucky to experience such intense and breathtaking weather.
