haha I thought so too. Heat doesn’t look like it’ll last long though.

I’m betting it’ll be warmer than that probably.

definitely Low snow levels for early June, Around 5k. Apparently this morning at 1am at 10k ft up on mt.rainier at camp Muir it was 20 degrees. Cool air aloft coming in with this system.

tomorrow should definitely be more active than today in WA and OR. Some of the cells moving NE could be decent this afternoon here up north probably will take awhile before they move into the interior around here. Atmosphere will be more unstable tomorrow.

Some showers pushing into the SW interior and OR coastal range. Appears to be some decent echoes as well. Currently 59 degrees and mostly sunny here.

Tuesday is going to be a scorcher. Some places especially south of Seattle in Western WA will probably see their first 90 of the year. Looks like it cools down Wednesday. Definitely will be in the mid 80s for a lot of places.

the past 2 night time lows here have been in the upper 40s which is cool for early June. Good chance we only hit the mid to upper 50s on Friday it’s a fairly cool airmass dropping in with this system.

51 and mostly cloudy here this morning. Some decent cells out along the coast but doesn’t look like there moving into the interior much.

we hit 103 degrees here on July 29th 2009. The hottest day I’ve seen in my lifetime in Tacoma. I don’t care much for days when the thermometer goes above 85. Just too hot for me in my opinion but whatever the weather gives us we have to deal with it!

Hopefully we don’t have any major heatwaves this summer but even if this summer is a cooler than average summer overall we are going to have to deal with some heat at one point or another.

Shower activity has mostly ceased across Western WA outside of that stronger cell moving NE along highway 18 currently near fall city and a few showers to the east of Bellingham and Mt.Vernon. Beautiful evening here down to 57 degrees.

60 and mostly sunny out. Had some showers earlier but nothing in the last 45 minutes. Has also been fairly breezy this evening. Definitely does look like a small intense cell moving NE right along Highway 18.

Some lightning strikes detected in those cells up north in the last few minutes.

looks like another decent cell is moving across the admiralty inlet NE into whidbey island currently as well.

wet down here as well now. Rain started about 5 minutes ago.

Looks like the first real echoes of the day are moving NE into the Puget Sound region from the SW interior as well.

Should be a bit of instability. Hopefully we get some interesting weather in Tacoma.

Yeah never was advertised to be strong. Just a breezy drizzly cool day here. Hopefully it produces more in the way of rainfall tomorrow and Friday.

57 here currently. Snow levels are supposed to be around 5k feet and highs are supposed to be on the cool side. Definitely a bit cooler than normal for June here as well which isn’t suprising since there still getting snow back in Montana which hasn’t happened in awhile apparently.

yeah hopefully this wet pattern squeezes out as much precip for OR and WA as possible.
