It's just been dumping snow in Skykomish all day So close...and yet so far...

Well NWS and all the models except WRF busted for my area. NWS thought we were getting 3". We got zero. It just never cooled down enough, even with extremely low dew points and relatively low temps. Nothing more disappointing

Got a nice n dry 35 out here. If I didn't know any better, I'd say it feels like springtime

I didn't even get a flake in Gold Bar, but that's okay. I got 16" in November, so I can't be too greedy I guess. I'm just happy for everyone else. Maybe I'll score this weekend or something.

So maybe I get a dusting, or 4 inches. I'll take my odds then, pretty lame winter for me when it comes to snow. WA Cascades could really use the snowpack boost though so I shouldn't complain completely. Would like to see the snowpack levels over 100% average since it's a La Nina still, but we're sitting at 80-90% in a lot of areas.

Worst case scenario, come work with me and make 6 figures without the need for a degree or physical activity. Downside is it's easy to fatten up here.

Aw you starred me :3 I wish i was close to average this year. Just had that 16" blast and a couple dustings. Nothing else of excitement except for all the wind storms. Blow Bar earning its name. FYI - for anyone who ever saw a red truck, blowin' bubbles, rockin' tunes, with a SNOHOMISH CLASS OF '72 sign on the side...that guy lived pretty close to me. Super involved in the Sky Valley community, volunteering and just being all around awesome especially during Christmas where he would always be Santa. Sadly, I learned a few days ago that he's passed away. Now I have to drive past his truck every day and be sad. RIP bubble man.
