Sideways ice!

Purely anecdotal, but it feels like models almost always tend to overdo the southern push of arctic air. I can't recall the last time it was the other way around- anyone have a recent example?

I'm so nervous for this game, I can barely function. I'll give up snow for the next decade for a national championship. GO DAWGS!!!!!!!

The highs and lows of this forum reminds me of a college football message board. We’re all sickos.
Except we have no offensive/defensive coordinators to fire!! Who can we blame?!

Temp has dropped from 43 to 36 here in the last 3.5 hours. Could it be? Nah

Nice! Was at the huskies game that night. Incredible experience.
Was there as well! It was craazy, but not sure I'd call that game an incredible experience. Our offense was inept and lost to a bad Cal team. Getting home at 3 am also wasn't so awesome haha.

Has been moderately snowing all day here at Suncadia. Just fantastic. The drive home tomorrow may be interesting!

Appears to be snowing lightly in Newcastle at 34°, based on my Ring camera.

It unexpectedly snowed ~4.5" while we were at dinner here in Suncadia and it was amazing! Nothing better than driving through a forest of freshly flocked trees.

There are so many "events" being shown in the next week, I've lost track . What time of day are we expecting the system on Tues to arrive?

That one has the potential to be pretty big down here. Those #'s in Eugene and SLE are probably overdone, but its a situation where valley locales could see 1-3" of wet snow that melts by noon.
It's confusing when you switch between "down here" and "up here" . I vote for "down here", since you are South of most forum members!

Puyallup schools were 2 hours late. They announced it an hour after snow had already stopped last night. I assume they were worried about ice, because we got a dusting that barely stuck to roads at all.
I thought schools were closed for "President's Week"? Which is why traffic has been so much better the last few days.

Maybe it will also hit 80 degrees here in late March like it did in 2019. I can dream.
Well, at the end of the run, the GFS control has SEA at around 55 degrees. Baby steps...
