  4. Heavy rain on the way this afternoon. 2" expected in areas. Also, the NWS just corrected the record....Texas had 10 tornados in the Dallas County area. Currently, the Tx Panhandle is experiencing Thundersnow. Quite a start for the Fall, much less the Winter.

  11. I can accept the reason for the quakes in the eastern half of the state as fracking. But the west in congress with the east is puzzling. Yes they do oil and gas work out there but it's traditional technology. Some of these were on the southern border and up in the Panhandle. Very very odd to see this mass cluster. Thanks for the info. I'll keep an eye on this. We aren't in danger, it's just that it is an odd cluster of quakes. Very rare.
  12. A shameless advert........ Check out Earth Sci. Texas had 4 more quakes. Anybody know what's going on here? That's 7 in almost as many days.
  13. More quakes. This time 3 in Western Texas. Somebody tell me what the hell is going on? That's 7 quakes. https://www.star-telegram.com/news/state/texas/article236478923.html
  14. I'm wondering who will be the first on the forum to get the flu? My husband came home at 1 today with it. Sick as hell....I hope I don't win that contest. Everyone stay well!
  15. It started in the heart of the City. Very rare for Texas. I got a local news report that it was upgraded to a F3. 140 mph.
  16. The South is still getting shook up this morning. Rough commute in areas.
  17. It got wild down here real fast last night. The storms weren't very strong on the west side of Ft.Worth but quickly blew up and hammered Dallas. Odds o go from dull warm days to chaos. Heavy rain last night, but the high winds and tornado were not a welcomed change. Also quiett his morning as folks east of me are trying to pick up the pieces.
  18. Nice rain right now. Not wide spread but I'll take it. 74 for a High tomorrow. Very welcomed after 89* today.
  19. Currently 80* and rain. Not a wide set of storms but still a nice couple of cells that are going over. More in the forecast, so it's a nice beginning. The high tomorrow will be 74* so that will be a nice change.
  20. Well, I’ll enjoy the thunderstorms tonight. Windy currently. 88*. Front will drop us to a 74* high tomorrow. Lovin’ it!
  21. Heading for the high 80's tomorrow. 82* today. Sunny. A/C chuggin' along. I'm sooo ready for a cool cloudy, rainy day. Like.........NOW!!!!!
  22. 79* heading toward 84* today and 89* tomorrow. Clear, sunny. .....yawn.....
