  1. Amazing that so many media outlets locally along with NWS calling for virtually nothing for the DT KSEA metro area and extreme eastern Kitsap peninsula but when you take into acct NW flow, it's not surprising.
  2. KOMO or KIRO b/c Deborah Horne works for KIRO Not that it matters
  3. NWS AFD this morning is less than appreciable for those of us wanting snow. However they hoisted a Winter Storm Watch for the southern strait areas due to upslope flow (strait effect snow) where they expect significant accumulations. What I gathered was "nothing to see here, move along"

  8. This was just posted on Twitter "After reviewing the latest models I can confidently say that it's an ideal pattern for a 1,000 ft snow level. No widespread snow at sea level, but somebody could hit the convergence zone lottery on Sunday. Also of interest--will the 1600+day streak of 32+ deg highs end Monday? If any of these "ridge roller" type storms (Lance Bosart term) ends up stronger than currently forecast, it will simply erode the cold air faster. No source of additional arctic air after Monday".
  9. Hmmm, might need to break out the Tauntaun's this weekend.
  10. Did I hear someone correctly last night regarding 850's around -12C ?
  11. Same here at my elevation about 20 mins ago. Noticeable SW wind now and DP spiked to 35F
