I will not be thrilled if that North King County shadow occurs...probably will though. -

Beautiful day along I-90 from North Bend to Cle Elum. Car thermometer got down to around 20 degrees in the Roslyn, Cle Elum area at about 1:30. Not bad! I'll post some pictures in a little while. -

Seriously, too bad it hasn't been able to produce any real snow here except for a wet rain snow mix. Disgusting out there right now. Was thinking about heading out for a drive but not anymore. Can't wait to get up to the mountains once its finally dry. -

Does anyone know if there are any other cams besides the WSDOT cams to check the road conditions at the summit? They're all still out due to the power outages and the conditions report says snow and ice on the roadways but all the cams that are working show just wet pavement. Going to try and see if I can head up there later today. -

Doubt N. King, S. Snohomish gets any snow unless the CZ sticks around well into the evening and nighttime hours which it likely wont. Just cold rain like we've been getting with maybe a mix for some. Better chances of seeing some snow the further south you go in king county. Also for the other people who posted the 12z WRF map. Those totals are certainly not happening as the WRF thought that a CZ would be happening in the morning in N. King, which didn't happen. -

Winter Weather advisory was issued for the EPSL. But just for high elevations such as North Bend and places along HWY 2. 1-3" -

I think most people on here would kill to live where Tim lives. North bend is a great town too. We almost moved there when we moved here but my folks opted for the shorter commute to Microsoft. -

Considering your elevation you have to live in one of the best areas for snow, at least that I know of in the central sound. Only area that I can think of that would be about on par with what you get would be NE of Duvall which gets up to about 900ft. They tend to do really well, especially with CZ's. Even slightly higher elevations further west (cougar mountain area) don't get nearly as much snow as that. Maybe if I get bored enough over break i'll look into those places a bit more and see how they compare, although i'm not sure where I would get snow data for them. Enjoy the snow, i'm jealous! -

Seems like the vast majority of snow reports and accumulations are from the I-90 area southward. -

I think you'll do pretty well over the next few days in the snow department. Especially compared to the rest of us. I bet your kids would love a white Christmas!
