  1. Another dusting of snow here this morning. Didn't bother going out to measure but probably only 0.25" when I woke up a few minutes ago. Up to 33 so the melt is on.
  2. The roads were covered an hour ago and then as soon as the precip rates let up a bit it melted off. The beauty of spring snow!
  3. Our temp is actually slowly rising. We were down to 31.4 but now we are up to 32.7 despite continued moderate snowfall.
  4. Forgot to mention, I was night skiing up at Snoqualmie last night (which was my first time up for the season due to a busy quarter). The snow was dumping at the start of the night leaving a couple of inches of fresh powder and I was shocked to see how dry the powder was for the cascades. I havent skied powder that dry since my freshman year in Utah. It's been a good winter season all around!
  5. The convergence zone really helps us out here (as it did last month)! I also this access to east winds helps but we are far enough away where the atmosphere doesn't stay too dry when precip reaches us. I'm hoping to research some of the Puget Sound micro-climates once I get further into my atmos classes. We had 40" for the 2008-2009 season with the help of some strong CZ's as well.
  6. Had 36" for the month of February. Up to 37.5" for the season as of yesterday. Would love to get above 40" but I doubt that will happen.
  7. Yup! Still in the same spot. This cell has just been parked over us! It's let up a little bit but the snow is still dumping. Although it looks like its sliding slightly eastward in the last few frames. That is such a bummer, hopefully you guys can get in on the action soon!
  8. For sure. I was pretty surprised to see that band had just started when I woke up to find that everything was covered.
  9. Dumping snow here. Feels like the heaviest i've seen all season. 31 degrees with snow covered roads about 15 minutes after it started. 0.5" in 20 minutes.
  10. Snow just stopped here with a total of 1.5". Definitely a nice coating to make everything look nice and fresh again!
  11. Back to all snow NE of Redmond at 34.1 Makes it a bit more pleasant to shovel in versus the rain.
  12. It's switched over to drizzle here NE of Redmond at 32.8
  13. Time to start shoveling... http://i66.tinypic.com/1zftz74.jpg
