  1. 00z GEFS long range 500mb becoming a bit more favorable. Falling right inline very nicely with the Weeklies, ECMWF Ensembles.
  2. Hasselhoff must be drinking again. Let's just hope he doesn't post any videos this time. OR maybe hope he does for entertainment reasons. 00z ECMWF in 4 minutes!
  3. Exactly. If you look at the overall pattern it's not impossible to see that happen fairly soon after the 2nd trough.
  4. Yeah that Alaskan Vortex doesn't want to budge. Let's see how it trends the next 2-3 days (8-12 model runs)
  5. Despite the overall poor run-to-run consistency increasing after Day 5, I will say through Day 7 the past 12 runs (3 days of runs) shows the mean position/positive anomaly remains at 160 W.
  6. I didn't react favorably because where was no sign Fred was being sarcastic or joking. I spoke with him about that. I really enjoy sarcasm, banter and what not when such intent is understood. 00z ECMW in 1 hour 51 minutes
  7. So basically based on the Weeklies and all Ensembles we don't even need to look at any models until next Wednesday. Nothing favorable should happen until near or after the 9th. What are we going to do with ourselves the next 10 days!!!!
  8. This may be unpopular, so click that -negative button, but let's lay off Tim just a bit. In the spirit of Christmas lay off a Tim just a bit? Something like that. He wasn't wrong when he recently said the EPS was a step backwards. It was. It was in fact a significant step back. He hasn't just posted about warm drizzle. He has some partiality in some aspects of his analysis just like others that he could work on, but he's relatively impartial too. I don't see him just waiting to post only things we don't like. I'd think if the EPS turns favorable/cold he would post that also. I think some people are a wee bit testier than usual due to the models not looking real fantastic right now which is silly. Yep. Alright then. Feel free to disagree with me that's alright.
  9. Yeah I figured as much. They along with the Flicker are the most beautiful birds there are. The markings and colors are just amazing. 00z ECMWF (MLK Day) in 507 hours 37 minutes
  10. Has anyone seen any Alaskan Robins(Varied Thrush) yet in their yards? January 2017 we had some. We all know what happened then. 00z NAM (New Years Eve) in 23 hours 39 minutes
  11. Better runs ahead! At some point.... Not sure when, but they will be better! .... Not sure how much better, but when that happens they will be better! C'MON!!!! 00z GFS in 2 hours 35 minutes 00z ECMWF in 4 hours 50 minutes
  12. That's the pattern we want to see regarding the southeast US ridge and higher heights over the central/midwestern US. Minor adjustments upstream with the block and we score big time. Promising.
  13. That would make the ski resorts real happy, but not so much for the plowing crews. C'MON!!!!
  14. 528 thickness is the new 504 thickness. C'MON!!!! 00z GFS in 4 hours 31 minutes
  15. For whatever reason if it's to be believed the Canadian ensembles were by far the best. Once again potential decent backdoor cold for Yakima showing. 00z ECMWF in 7 hours 6 minutes ---------------------------------------------------------------------- What's this? Must be something new. Eh............ Sorry, you don't have permission for that! [#103128] The administrator has limited the number of new posts you can submit within a short time frame. 16. That looks encouraging. LOCK IT IN! C'MON!!!! If that's right the models should shape up very noticeably with improvements showing on runs later this week. Always. No one is allowed to think anything different and certainly no thinking Split-Flow and INVERSIONS!!!! Looks promising. I used to think the ECMWF Weeklies were gospel, but I have little faith in them anymore due to the fact it showed a good pattern to be in place December 30th(Now) - January 6th with at least solid backdoor cold. That's apparently not going to verify. I mean we'll see.
