An undercutting low about Coos Bay that sits and stalls for 48 hours sounds good to me. I am sure you want that same low at the OR/WA border.

Climatology is definitely steering the models next week. They don't want us that cold unless it's dry. I was telling my brother earlier that a surface low is going to pop up in the models within hour 168 I think.

Medford occasionally mentions you?? Although they have a stiff one for N. California most of the time from what I've seen.

It will be interesting to see if the Wed/Thur storm I am following holds to form. Appears to suppress the jet and maybe open the door??? I am not the best at reading the models but 522 thicknesses and -10 850s do speak to me.

Hopefully I wake up to them saying the same thing. I have a bet with my brother that we get at least one 12" storm this year. Been pathetic over here.

Shows upslope snow from hr 186 to 210, still snow showers out to 222, wraparound into the valley even with low thicknesses. Definitely something I am going to keep watching.
