  1. I resemble that remark! But a wise man once told me. Variety is the spice of life!
  2. Mastered the dominion the Lord gave us, MANIFEST DESTINY! I moved here from California too... We may have discovered the missing link.
  3. Oh I am fair game. I would not deny any of those assessments!
  4. The Lord bestowed his blessings upon the colonists seeking his name in this land.
  5. Of course they also have lots of severe weather in Oklahoma which can be hard to predict.
  6. The current pattern we have would probably be producing highs in the 30s in the Willamette Valley if it came in mid-December.
  7. It does show slightly above normal precip west of the Cascades in Oregon and Washington.
  8. Musta hit a nerve. Was not necessarily meant as an attack. More a well reasoned analysis.
  9. I think forecasting is tough in many places. We do have a lot of strange microclimates though. When I lived in NE Oklahoma it was pretty simple. There were almost always N/S temp gradients, and on clear nights the river bottoms were frost hollows. With winter storms there would usually be a rain zone/ZR sleet zone/snow zone, and where those set up could be a little tricky, but definitely easier than around here.
  10. FWIW the 12z shows a push of cold air into E. Washington in the long range.
  11. Was much cooler this morning. Made it down to 30 under clear skies. I am guessing slightly cooler and drier air must have worked in aloft last night.
  12. Fog has lifted a bit, but now it is cloudy with a few breaks. 46 currently at SLE.
