  1. Coldest reading of the winter here was 15 on February 23rd.
  2. I think that is colder than N. Bend, Washington got all winter!
  3. Clear all night here. I see Tahoe set a record low yesterday.
  4. 8th sub-freezing low of the month at station of the God's south this morning. Sub-freezing most places in the valley this morning. 28 up here. 16 freezing lows here this month so far. Pretty impressive for March.
  5. Never been big into beef, but I do enjoy pork. Have always been fond of fruits and vegetables too. I don’t really have a target age I want to live to. 83 is old, I think I would enjoy being that age. My grandmother is 94 and still alive, my mother, her daughter didn’t make it past 55. They both took care of themselves so you just never know. I don’t spend much time worrying about it.
  6. Its great we have these pointless discussions on an almost nightly basis. THANKS TIM.
  7. The west coast as a whole has been experiencing long term drought conditions since about 2013.
  8. Wow. Most places in the Willamette Valley had multiple accumulating snowfalls capped by 3-8" on March 21-22. The Oregon Coast had a significant snow event on March 13th. I had 40" of snow here and almost 21" of precip. I believe it is the wettest March on record for much of the Willamette Valley.
  9. It will be cold enough up here, especially 7p-7a, but the moisture doesn't look very impressive. Those March 2012 systems were accompanied by ridiculous amounts of precip.
  10. Not much of a difference down here on cold air...But the precip isn't looking very impressive.
  11. I'm not super excited about the late week trough. Doesn't really look like something that will deliver much more than 1-2" up here...
  12. 46 with rain at SLE. Was only 39 at 11am when I headed to Portland this morning.
  13. A line of thunderstorms has developed east of I5 Through the central Willamette valley
  14. Pretty typical for green grass and cherry blossoms in the pnw in March. The flowering trees were hit hard in the Willamette valley during the March 2012 snow event. Tim implies it is something unusual.
  15. Yeah I mean there may be a tree or two flowering idk.
