The Cats Meow

Drove by Tim's house today on the way to hike to Snow Lake. Beautiful overcast morning with light rain and mist. What a wonderful hike. Could not see much of the lake this time around but was still a good time. The crowds that were arriving were like ants marching to a pic nic basket. 62 in the Puyallup Valley.

Nice steady rain in the Puyallup Valley. Been raining for about an hour. Refreshing.

Has anyone on here ever been to Burning Man? It looks really muddy this year.

Had a high of 88 degrees today in the Puyallup Valley. Celebrated a family members birthday out on the patio and it was hot hot hot. Looking forward to some cooler temps and then another good run of sun and warmth to close out summer. Do the Puyallup!

87 glorious degrees at 6pm in the Puyallup Valley. So amazing. Looks like a chance for some rain again Tuesday morning. Refreshing.

What a beautiful day today. Got nice and warm for a bit but started off cool and has already cooled off. Fall is near.

Nice rain squall moved through for about 15 minutes of heavy rain. Good stuff.

79 here in the Swamp. What a glorious summer it has been. One for the ages.

Thank god! Summer is so short around here. The more heat we can get for longer is fine by me.

So many blessings this week. Next week we go back into the deep freezer. Had hoped for a light show today. Doesn't look like it's gonna quite materialize here. Many more blessings and chances this summer me thinks.

Look at that massive crash. Wowwweeeee. Crash crash crash. Gonna be a nice three or four days though. Looking forward to some nice warm sunshine. Oh the blessings.

It hasn't worked out in the past month or so but looks like maybe a brief warm up is followed by a bigger warm up and maybe some thunder bumpers.

A nice sun break a bit ago. Temp spiked to 52. Enjoyable day after all.

Has anyone been following the Russian volcano that puffed? Shiveluch burped and a lot of the ash is getting wrapped up in the low south of Alaska. I guess Alaska airlines has canceled some flights and some of the ash has even made it into BC and Washington State. I guess the cloud is made up of sulfur dioxide gas.

The cool thing about the PNW is we all usually get a good dose of what we want at some point. Right now the rain and cold weather lovers are getting fed. I like a good thunderstorm and am hoping at some point later this spring or summer we get one or two. Something with lots of light and booms.
