  1. Everyone is always offended by something. You take the cake. The statistics are real and Oregon is actually in the top 10 for states. In wet, dark and dreary places peoples mental health can suffer. Those are just facts. We all want some sun right about now except you. Facts again.
  2. It's gonna be real close Tim. Hard to believe anything on here that goes upward and to the right. Just about every time it advertises some warming it takes it away.
  3. It's going to happen. I'll hold down the fort while you are gone. All these blessings we've been having the last few months are a bit overwhelming though. It's no wonder so many people in this area commit suicide. It gets pretty depressing. Travel safe, enjoy the sun wherever you land and dream happy thoughts of a return to sunny and warm 60 degree days. My strawberries, peas and grass seed depend on it.
  4. Do you like fresh peas? Strawberries? They need lots of rain to grow big and strong. At some point they will need some sun too. It's coming.
  5. Got the peas planted in a nice soaking rain. So many blessings coming from the sky to soak them in good. Pray the seeds don't rot. So many blessings in the ten day forecast. The illusive ridge at day 7-10 keeps disappearing. We are so blessed.
  6. 48 and moderate rain here. Was able to get outside this morning and thin my strawberry plants and replant them. They love all this rain and if it continues I'll likely have monster sized berries this year. The warmth will set in after the fruit sets and it will be wonderful! Peas going in the ground later today.
  7. This. I remember forecast busts on the temperature range because of the thick smoke. The models just can't deal with smoke. What would have normally been warm warm days ended up being nothing burgers. There will be plenty of blessings though. Lots and lots of blessings this summer.
  8. Nah nah nah. We are going to hit 60 towards the end of the month. There will be many many more blessings before then though. Many.
  9. Okay Andie. Glad you had lots of snow in the mountains of Oregon. Check back in next November to tell us all about all the snow you get living in the mountains. LOL!
  10. the consistency this spring is in showing a ridge and then watering it down to nothing and sliding in more troughing that looks to continue although the troughing later in the month looks a bit warmer Andie and Jess can continue their mad trolling. Gonna be good for them. The pendulum always swings. Always. Crying soon they will be.
  11. I've had more accumulation of hail this winter than snow yet somehow I'm supposed to grade this winter as amazeballs? Get the f out of here with that nonsense.........LOL! What this winter did feature for my back yard was lots of 34-38 rain. Whoooooopeeeee! Statistically cold. Whoopeee. My grade for the winter is a D. The little ice storm we had was very interesting. The rest was pure crap.
  12. A ver cold cold rain this morning. 38 and cold rain in fact. Very impressive.
  13. Some nice sun breaks popping out now. Looks like it's going to be a nice day.
  14. Looks like a nice warming trend on tap. Of course there will be those that say, yeah but, yeah but, yeah but....it might rain. Don't listen to them. Warming is warming and it will feel good D**n it!
  15. Looks like a nice little warm up. We are over-due. Then yes, CRASH CRASH CRASH,,,,,,,,,,LOL
  16. Is there going to be snow in the Oregon Mountains this weekend? The forum must know. We crave knowledge.
  17. Looks like maybe a slight warming trend is in the offing. There could be a "crash" towards the middle of April though.
  18. Maybe we break this pattern mid April but I wouldn't count on it.
  19. What a beautiful pattern we've had for the last month or two and yet in my backyard basically nothing to write home about snow wise. Maybe we need a Nino to get a good snow in the Puyallup Valley.
  20. 306" is stunning. I think that would be too much for me. I like about 4-6" that stays for a few days and then leaves.
  21. Very consistent again. April looks to be on the chilly wet side for the first ten days. 35 for a low here in the valley. Sun should be out shortly to warm things up.
  22. Living in the mountains of Oregon, what is the least amount of snow in a winter season that you've totaled? And what is the most?
  23. The wife has Covid so I been outside all morning shaping the rose bushes, pruning a little and shaping the apple tree and even cut the grass. The sunshine definitely boost the spirits.
  24. The pattern looks to continue. Nice little warm up for a few days and then back to a chillier pattern.
  25. April troughing is okay. When we have nice breaks like we did last week it makes it feel pretty good. Some rain, some sun and I'm good. The mountains are going to be picking up some good snow pack. Gonna hit Rattlesnake Ledge tomorrow. A few weeks ago it was pretty icy near the top with some light snow falling. Probably picked up more snow today though. Tim, how does the snow line look up your way?
