  1. You probably have at least 1.5-2 doing a sidewalk eyeball test. Maybe an inch minimum based on my criteria for taking my son to school via sled. What does your husband think of the snow? Did he grow up with snow? @MWG
  2. I'm thrilled for you. Didn't that happen last year too before a ruler turned up. Nice photo. I'm so excited for you and @Dave. @TigerWoodsLibido did you get anything measurable?
  3. https://truckeetahoeairport.com/webcam This is one of my favorite cams.
  4. I know tomorrow is a Saturday, but try to let us know if you get any overnight snow before it melts.
  5. Rained turned to snow. Very wet so not much stickage and in the mid 30's.
  6. Wanted to post because it's Feb 29th! Currently 36F. Does anyone have any fun leap day weather stories, weather history on this date, leap day memories or know someone who has/had a bday today? What do they do in off years?
  7. Rooting for you hard this week. I don't mind not getting anything if it gets you, Tiger, and MWG.
  8. @MWG if you get anything please let us know.I hope I don't jinx you! Same goes for anyone else in Eugene south.
  9. One question I've always had. Why do some maps have light blue starting at 1 inch and others at 2?
  10. I would actually call that a win for Auburn. They can get snow but it's rare compared to Colfax which is like North Bend or maybe Snoqualmie (the town) or wherever the snow line usually is during major winter events. I have a few friends in Colfax, they get snow a few times each winter winter, but Auburn only gets them occasionally. Colfax is usually where Caltrans sets-up chain controls or closures if going east. I do recall Auburn getting like 3-4 inches during that system that brough lowland snow to CA last Feb.
  11. Had a third of an inch after midnight. O.3 so my current total is 14.6 for the season.
  12. FInally went out to measure tonight. Wasn't motivated but we have 0.20 of snow with probably 70% graupel and 30% snow. Up to 14.3 for the season.
  13. Yeah! We have two rocking chairs and a kids chair that doesn't rock but slides (think one of those barstool types). It's great in the summer.
  14. The cottonwood pollen is terrible here for about 7-10 days, usually in the first week or so of June at my location.
  15. I'm across the street from KLWS in Lewiston for my wife's orthopedic appointment and getting a good graupel shower outside. 1400 ft elevation I think.
  16. I did get 0.28 of rain last night which was cool.
  17. No snow here unless you count a flake or two on top of my garbage can. I wasn't expecting any despite what models showed. Too warm so I'm not disapointed. But I did see 2-3 cars with a decent amount snow at the school drop off, which means our local mountains and farmers outside of town got snow. Can't see them since the foothills block the view although there's a tiny patch on our nearby hill that looks like it got a dusting.
  18. I see a Santa Claus in the snow next to your dog.
