  1. @MWG if you get anything please let us know.I hope I don't jinx you! Same goes for anyone else in Eugene south.
  2. One question I've always had. Why do some maps have light blue starting at 1 inch and others at 2?
  3. I would actually call that a win for Auburn. They can get snow but it's rare compared to Colfax which is like North Bend or maybe Snoqualmie (the town) or wherever the snow line usually is during major winter events. I have a few friends in Colfax, they get snow a few times each winter winter, but Auburn only gets them occasionally. Colfax is usually where Caltrans sets-up chain controls or closures if going east. I do recall Auburn getting like 3-4 inches during that system that brough lowland snow to CA last Feb.
  4. Had a third of an inch after midnight. O.3 so my current total is 14.6 for the season.
  5. FInally went out to measure tonight. Wasn't motivated but we have 0.20 of snow with probably 70% graupel and 30% snow. Up to 14.3 for the season.
  6. Yeah! We have two rocking chairs and a kids chair that doesn't rock but slides (think one of those barstool types). It's great in the summer.
  7. The cottonwood pollen is terrible here for about 7-10 days, usually in the first week or so of June at my location.
  8. I'm across the street from KLWS in Lewiston for my wife's orthopedic appointment and getting a good graupel shower outside. 1400 ft elevation I think.
  9. I did get 0.28 of rain last night which was cool.
  10. No snow here unless you count a flake or two on top of my garbage can. I wasn't expecting any despite what models showed. Too warm so I'm not disapointed. But I did see 2-3 cars with a decent amount snow at the school drop off, which means our local mountains and farmers outside of town got snow. Can't see them since the foothills block the view although there's a tiny patch on our nearby hill that looks like it got a dusting.
  11. I see a Santa Claus in the snow next to your dog.
  12. That's cool! How did you choose the Rangers as opposed to the M's or one of the California teams? Do you go to any Emeralds games? I bet they get a lot of rainouts!
  13. That 2017 WBC was incredible. Who is your favorite team? Or do you mainly cheer for Team PR? The sustained winds seem far weaker than they were during the last one in January when I was afraid one of my south facing windows would be blown out.
  14. Breezy out although nothing special at the moment.
  15. That would be a weird year if I end up beating you in snow totals. Currently at 14.1"
  16. It's a perfect day on my side of the mountains. Bright and sunny, light breeze, and some scattered clouds to the south and east. I'm sunbathing on the hospital's hill while my wife has her pt appointment. Glorious weather.
  17. How's the lower Snake in WA? Last I saw we were at like 70 percent or so. Flew back to Spokane today and all the snow in North Whitman and Spokane counties from Thursday has melted. Thursday the roads were covered in snow noeth of Colfax. Friday the roads themselves had melted but hills were covered. Today pretty much nothing all the way home with cold sunshine.
  18. Yes. I'd you look at every snow map, they are in the bullseye of nothing. Said bullseye of nothing often ends just west of me, when I'm not shadowed by warm noses. So while I complain about my climate, I wonder what would have happened if Iwe had moved there. We had a six year stretch where we told everyone we were moving from north SnoCo but nothing ever happened. We moved 2x in 2020. Pasco was a consideration although Fargo, ND was the most serious.
  19. 7 straight wins. Although my parents' neighbor is from Tacoma and a proud UW Seattle alum and told me that he can't support seven year old's Cougar fandom lol. I should have asked him if he misses the snow, having been in CA the last twenty years. We'll see if there's any convection here in CA tomorrow then back to KGEG on Tuesday.
