  1. That 2017 WBC was incredible. Who is your favorite team? Or do you mainly cheer for Team PR? The sustained winds seem far weaker than they were during the last one in January when I was afraid one of my south facing windows would be blown out.
  2. Breezy out although nothing special at the moment.
  3. That would be a weird year if I end up beating you in snow totals. Currently at 14.1"
  4. It's a perfect day on my side of the mountains. Bright and sunny, light breeze, and some scattered clouds to the south and east. I'm sunbathing on the hospital's hill while my wife has her pt appointment. Glorious weather.
  5. How's the lower Snake in WA? Last I saw we were at like 70 percent or so. Flew back to Spokane today and all the snow in North Whitman and Spokane counties from Thursday has melted. Thursday the roads were covered in snow noeth of Colfax. Friday the roads themselves had melted but hills were covered. Today pretty much nothing all the way home with cold sunshine.
  6. Yes. I'd you look at every snow map, they are in the bullseye of nothing. Said bullseye of nothing often ends just west of me, when I'm not shadowed by warm noses. So while I complain about my climate, I wonder what would have happened if Iwe had moved there. We had a six year stretch where we told everyone we were moving from north SnoCo but nothing ever happened. We moved 2x in 2020. Pasco was a consideration although Fargo, ND was the most serious.
  7. 7 straight wins. Although my parents' neighbor is from Tacoma and a proud UW Seattle alum and told me that he can't support seven year old's Cougar fandom lol. I should have asked him if he misses the snow, having been in CA the last twenty years. We'll see if there's any convection here in CA tomorrow then back to KGEG on Tuesday.
  8. Or the actual snow hole over mine. In Sacramento tonight and it's been pouring the last several hours and rain all day. As for my location back home it looks like winter is over there.
  9. That was a helluva winter in CA. Went mini golfing as it snowed on Memorial Day in South Lake Tahoe.
  10. We had solid flurries all morning and early afternoon but it's over and nothing really stuck.
  11. Hey you got more than a Trace on Valentine's Day as you like to joke, so it's a win.
  12. We will need more photos. I'm super excited for you! Out of curiosity how do places like South Bend or Raymond do compared to Aberdeen and Hoaqium? How does that Bay impact snow? We were married in Island County but registered our license in Pacific since we lived in Clatsop County OR at the time.
  13. It was 38 and raining on my snow board as of 10:30. Warm nosers for life.
  14. Likely for Western WA. Pasco/Kennewick/Richland "Tri Cities", Gorge Ampitheater near Royal City (Mattawa I think is the driest place in the state) or Clarkston closer to my area probably have it beat on the east side due to low elevation and shadowing.
  15. Same here. I know lots of posters loved it but it was always death by 0.20 slop for me.
  16. If you see no more posts from me, assume I drowned this weekend when I go there.
  17. Anyone know what happened to Ghusky (?) They were going to go to college in Walla Walla but haven't posted yet this winter. I forget their user name but it was something similar? Not Husky Maestro.
