Or the actual snow hole over mine. In Sacramento tonight and it's been pouring the last several hours and rain all day. As for my location back home it looks like winter is over there. -

That was a helluva winter in CA. Went mini golfing as it snowed on Memorial Day in South Lake Tahoe. -

We had solid flurries all morning and early afternoon but it's over and nothing really stuck. -

We will need more photos. I'm super excited for you! Out of curiosity how do places like South Bend or Raymond do compared to Aberdeen and Hoaqium? How does that Bay impact snow? We were married in Island County but registered our license in Pacific since we lived in Clatsop County OR at the time. -

Likely for Western WA. Pasco/Kennewick/Richland "Tri Cities", Gorge Ampitheater near Royal City (Mattawa I think is the driest place in the state) or Clarkston closer to my area probably have it beat on the east side due to low elevation and shadowing. -

Same here. I know lots of posters loved it but it was always death by 0.20 slop for me. -

Anyone know what happened to Ghusky (?) They were going to go to college in Walla Walla but haven't posted yet this winter. I forget their user name but it was something similar? Not Husky Maestro. -

That's one thing I feel strongly about in the opposite position. Always vote for schools because it benefits the community. My parents had us three kids in private school for all years except my brother's junior/senior HS year (so he could play football). They felt schools benefit the whole neighborhood. Esp when people move to a new district, they are in the opinion that they don't need it. But we can agree to differ. -

That's great! How long until you become a Canadian citizen? @Phishy Wx don't go, Spokane is still a popular place. Need more east side posters not less. -

Something that keeps me up at night is if I should focus on buying some property closer to Spokane long term goal for my son or work toward my son's college although for non stem it may not be worth it whereas he could survive with a house. Living in the sticks isn't an option for the kids, though it worked for us specifically. My parents who are pushing 70 in CA told me they are considering Wyoming because they don't have an income tax or tax retirement income. These are people who probably consider places like north SnoCo to be conservative. I told them they should just move to the Seattle or Spokane area in that case. Already below freezing, 31F. What do you west siders think of the CMC snowstorm at the end of the run? I can only look with some envy but like I've said, this winter has been better to me than the last and I'll probably get somewhere between 1-2.5 inches in the next 48 hours or so based on almost all models so I can't complain. -
