  1. Can confirm lack of snow here. Aside from the occasional flurry, nada.
  2. Getting some light and dry flakes here. 37 degrees and dropping. Oddest thing is that it was sleeting earlier for a few minutes, at 40 degrees.
  3. Wow it's really coming down here. Definitely some accumulation on the roads already with these big big flakes, so definitely a nice treat to close off the night. Looks like this will be the extent of what I'll get, though. Temp is down to 34.2 degrees, and I'm off for the night. Have fun, night shift!
  4. Alllrighty, now we've got some real good flakes flying around. Heavily snowing right now, temp has definitely started dropping with this band, at 34.8 now. Was drizzling only a little bit earlier even under rain (according to the radar), so I would guess that the east winds have been contributing to some drying out before it came down to the surface. That seems to have come to an end, for now, as the flakes are just really flying now and the wind has let up a bit. Shifted slightly more eastward instead of the ENE I was seeing earlier. My expectations are not high at all for anything tonight, but I've had enough snow this season to fulfill my hopes. Anything more is a bonus that I definitely won't complain about. Hope some folks who haven't been as lucky previously are getting some with this round!
  5. East wind is really picking up here, temp has dropped down to 35 now as the dew point rises. Definitely getting some flurries now, pretty light stuff though
  6. Have been staying pretty consistently on the northwest edge of those radar returns, it hasn't been enough to give me anything more than a light snow at times throughout the morning.
  7. So it's lightly snowing again and the temperature has risen to 33.5 degrees now. Looks like the final total is 3 inches overall with this event, with maybe an inch of that coming down overnight. Otherwise, the snowfall yesterday evening really gave us the majority of that snow.
  8. Well, we're sitting at just over 2 inches here! It's 33 degrees and still lightly snowing, so I'll take it. Definitely ending November on a positive note this year
  9. Can't get a solid read but speculating maybe a quarter inch here. Temp is dropping again and it's sticking to the roads, we're in business!
  10. Annnd we're back to all snow here, some chunky flakes falling. Temperature dropped down to 34.0 exactly, accumulation is now noticeable on the trees. Nothing on the roads as of yet.
  11. So currently at 34.5, and we've transitioned back to a light rain/very fine snow mix here. Not looking bright right now, hoping it transitions back to snow later tonight.
  12. Check out the WSDOT traffic map for the state's cameras. King County also has an assortment of cameras here, as well as an interactive map here.
  13. Flakes have started getting lighter here, a few ice pellets mixing in at times. Still definitely coming down though, temperature hovering at 34 degrees right now. I'd love to have what Enumclaw is having.
  14. Rain started mixing an hour ago with big fluffy flakes before switching over about 15 minutes later. Went from 38 then to 34 now, with some pretty heavy snow. Big fluffy flakes are gone though, oh well.
  15. Bit of fairly green returns just moved overhead here.. according to the radar. Nothing that's making it to the ground, though, hand check confirms. Winds have picked up a bit and the temperature has dropped to 34.5 so far, from 38 about 45 minutes ago. Not quite sure what to think, but it certainly is interesting to watch the conditions change like this.
  16. Really have to wonder when Jim Cantore managed to sneak up here, huh. Seriously though, thundersnow! Amazing!!!
  17. Yeah today has panned out a little bit on the disappointment side for me. Was snowing for a good chunk of the day in Maple Valley before finally switching over to rain at 2. Pretty much no accumulation on the road after this morning's burst. Which was great for driving home in, but not so great for the snow lover in me. The little accumulation I got this morning at home melted off this afternoon, so now it's just 35 degrees and a cold, cold rain.
  18. Lightly snowing and temperature is hovering right around 33 in Maple Valley. Looks like the roads have warmed up enough to where they are just wet, so hopefully driving home this afternoon won't be too terrible. Hopefully.
  19. I've been trying my hardest to keep up with the forum the past few days, but at this post rate, there might be 300 pages by the end of the month!
  20. Really has been a crazy night. Pretty sure everyone in the Sound had their power start flickering when that surge hit, if the anecdotal reports on timing are right. Browsing the bird app right now just to watch the photos being taken
