  1. This was the view in the very early morning here. Insanely heavy snow with very strong east winds
  2. Most of our snow fell around 1-2 am when it was in the mid 20 so no melting yet. I wasn't expecting much after the initial 2" of snow but then that extremely heavy band overnight was a great surprise. Never seen snow that heavy.
  3. Portland office isn't much better lol. Their forecasts yesterday before the snow started was a WWA from the central/south Valley and absolutely nothing for PDX. Then they changed it to a advisory above 500 ft or something, then a winter storm warning that was still way too low after the snow had already been accumulating for a while in portions of the Metro. And then we had a blizzard after the warning expires
  4. Looks like 6.1" from this storm total. Definitely an amazing storm, that snow overnight was extremely heavy. So much wind and a lot of drifts outside. Received 3-4" from 1 to 3 am with those bands
  5. Yeah, we are down to 26 now which is definitely colder than any of the snow in 2017. This event is longer lasting too
  6. Looks like totals could get close to Jan 2017 (maybe a few inches behind) if this continues.
  7. West Hills must really be getting nailed right now with temps in the low-mid 20s and persistent banding
  8. Wonder if we could cross the 8" mark. I've never seen snow this heavy and it looks to continue
  9. Really insane storm. Radar looks good, possibly could manage another 3"+ with these rates
  10. Looks like it. Full on blizzard conditions right now. and it looks like it's going to continue
  11. Some cameras around my area. This is some of the heaviest snow I've ever seen
  12. Reminds me of February 2014 with the very fine dry snow and strong east wind. Incredible storm. Easily the heaviest snow of the day
  13. Glad to see we could get some more accumulations tonight. How much do you think I could see total? I've got 2" so far
  14. Looks like I'm in a great spot for this band. Only 2" so far for the event but I think that'll change soon
  15. Portland recorded their second snowiest day on record and snowiest since 1943, with a very heavy snow band approaching
  16. Looks like this thing could last a bit too. Temps are cold too, I think colder than it got during the 2017 snowstorm. Not nearly as much here yet but this could be great
