  1. Yeah I was mostly just hoping after the torchy summers before.
  2. I was hoping 2023 could've been a cooler summer but then we still managed ridiculous heat. We had a 107/76 day here in August, that low being warmer than any of our lows in June 2021. At least there were some great thunderstorms at times here
  3. Last two days have mostly melted the snow cover here. Just a few piles left, but a great stretch of snow on the ground before that. Still had a lot of slush/snow on roads even on Saturday.
  4. How much snow did you get from each of the individual big storms that winter, in Dec and the two Feb ones?
  5. It was a good storm here at least. We had 3" of snow which wasn't crazy, but the blizzard winds and cold temps made it worth it. We didn't have ice until Tuesday night
  6. Another thin layer of ice on most surfaces, this snow is definitely not melting fully soon. Lot of snow/slush on roads and sidewalks are pretty icy in places.
  7. Looks like a lot of houses nearby lost power again because of the wind this time. Really greatful we kept power through this whole thing
  8. Very windy with rain falling, it's 34 degrees so no ice
  9. Even with all this rain and temps around 35/36 degrees the snow is still hanging on pretty well. Roads are still covered in snow/slush and the grass and other surfaces are still fully covered
  10. 3KM NAM shows another ice storm for Portland with more cold air coming through the Gorge
  11. Just January, for all months it looks like it was this after removing duplicates. Not as impressive but still some really nice blasts in there Jan 1950 Dec 1990 Dec 1983 Dec 1968 Dec 1978/Jan 1979 Dec 1964 Feb 1989 Jan 2024
  12. If you go by max temps only, this was the coldest 4 day stretch for max temps at PDX in January aside from January 1950. And the coldest 3 day stretch since January 1957
  13. Yeah, I remember forecasts even yesterday showing 45+ here. Stayed in the 30s all day, everything is really icy still. The snow has a solid layer of ice on top of it.
  14. Even Hillsboro is still at 34. Ice is still holding on to plants and trees and roads are really slippery
  15. You had 1/4" in Cedar Mill? I think the battle zone was probably right near us then, as we had about 3" of snow/sleet here in Bethany, with at least 2" of that being snow.
  16. 34 here, looks like some spots nearby in the West Hills are 36/37
  17. Solid icing on everything, but we're up above freezing right now. It's been a great stretch, below freezing since Friday with over 33 hours below 20 degrees.
  18. Everything is really icy outside, the snow is covered in a solid layer of ice. 27 degrees right now
  19. Solid glazing of ice now. The snowpack is frozen solid with freezing rain on top of 3" of snow.
  20. Raining and 28 degrees. Some sleet mixed in but mostly zr
