  1. Been a blast from Canada, thanks guy's hope everyone scores whoohoo! go Hawks!
  2. Yes same for spamming to much as well thanks for the snowfall map showing northern areas as well, just unreal it's insanely beautiful.
  3. Holy Seahawks! it's a ballz to the wall region wide snowstorm.
  4. Yup, much appreciated I remember prior to last Feb's. blast the ups and downs near the end of Jan. and boom!. I learn now if it goes in the crapper to walk a way for awhile.
  5. Thanks for the maps DJ I use them on our Canadian site sometimes with a thanks disclaimer.
  6. O.k. but another quick question I see Shawnigan lake mentions kicking whatever out of Alaska is good I presume the vortex? never mind answered dislodge the cold air our way.
  7. I thought it meant the opposite higher heights mean ridge building into Alaska?
  8. But alway's make sure you wear your soft soled shoes doesn't hurt your feet as much when jumping off the band wagon.
  9. North County you have the best of both world's Environment Canada's forecast for Abbotsford or the NWS for Whatcom which do you pick a blend of the two and hope for the best? ever kept score on who nails it most for Sumas.
  10. Trying to stay awake for the 06Z GFS but hard to. Currently 2.1c up here in Chilliwack B.C. 36f not much rain yet. I much appreciate all the map posting on your forum and great wealth of information. Better late never "Happy New Year" to you all's.
  11. Hum too Fred, that was a great U2 album/Cd Another Canadian here that posts from time to time, hopefully we are winding up for the goodies in January would be awesome.
  12. Wishing you all a "Happy Thanksgiving" from Canada, love this time of the year feels like the official start of the Christmas season. let's hope it's like a switch that turns things around for all of us with mountain snows and lowland cold and snow as well. I must say this Fraser river out flow is very under performing. only sitting at 33f winds are still gusting to 30kmh dewpoint is -11c humidity is 42% there's just no bite to this. The one in Oct. was awesome for that early. oh well hope for a pattern reset come Dec.
  13. Wow I couldn't believe I just came across Steve Pool is retiring, growing up in Vancouver here I would alway's tune into Seattle forecasters just because they were more professional then what we had on t.v. up here. I mostly watched Harry Wappler later his son, and Ray Ramsey, KING t.v. a bit but not as much mostly Jeff Renner, I remember when Steve was interning with Ray Ramsay. Man I'm getting old will have to watch his final forecast next week as well as the special on Dec. 1st. "happy retirement Steve from an avid Canadian watcher".
  14. Geez! it looks like it's shrinking kinda like when you stand outside too long in the cold (guy's would understand)
