  1. However painful it is to watch the models slip away like this, it is nice to know that spring shall come sooner! Also take into account what happened on GHD storm with MSP getting slammed with 10" after not thinking much on models, I guess I shall keep my eye out.
  2. Let's get E3 in here; absolutely hammers me. I hope this trend is able to continue, these past few winters have been quite boring on my side of town, meanwhile south of MSP has gotten hammered it seems. Side note: almost reported this post because of clumsy button pressing, lol.
  3. Ok models, let's get that GFS trend going.
  4. You see that white sliver in Minnesota? Hello, welcome to my winter. Haha, in all seriousness though, this thing seems to be coming in rather consistent on the models. Will be interesting to see just how much moisture can get wrapped up in it.
  5. Welp, looks like the sharp cutoff that has been plaguing the northern Twin Cities continues. Hopefully we get hammered here with a model shift or we get absolutely nothing. Always fun to track these, hopefully QPF's stay consistent even thought they seemingly always drop from this far out.
  6. A storm worth keeping my eye on here in central MN, cool.
  7. NWS office in Chanhassen mentions a possible foot of snow in southern MN via the GFS. Quite interesting seeing as most things seem to be pointing to a more southerly solution at this point.
  8. Looking like this is going to stay away from here (around Minneapolis), but should still be a fun storm to track!
  9. I am not sure of exact speeds, but the snow is blowing pretty well. Falling sideways and some blowing where I am. Probably around 20mph.
  10. The fact that that model drop another 5 around here is awesome!
  11. Yup, it is still coming down very heavily here. Closing in on 9 where I am.
  12. Snow coming down VERY heavy in MSP. Glad the models missed it and we got a good snowfall so far. 5 inches and counting with 1/4 mile visibility where I am! If this thing can stall and hold its moisture we could get some good totals.
  13. Oh boy, now that we are getting closer things are getting more fun. Assuming this thing keeps it track up north and west I might end up with a decent snow in MSP after being forecast basically nothing. And if the low camps out... As someone said earlier the math behind this is infinite.
  14. Really liking that last run around here. Not sure how well it holds since just yesterday everything seemed out of reach to the southeast. Can't wait to see how this all ends up panning out.
  15. Everyone on these boards talking about the foot of snow they are going to get and I get to sit here on this awful gradient hoping the storm moves NW. The new GFS run does look quite juicy for those down south of here, would make for a "fun" storm down there.
  16. Us northerners must stay strong. Believe in the shift back NW!
  17. Seems everything is trending fairly well to the southeast. Hopefully this ends for the sake of my sanity. GFS needs to go back to its NW solution. And yes I know it is forever out, but this trend is quite supported it seems.
  18. Let's get this thing rolling NW into MSP. Who cares if there is a road block. I am sick of 2 inch snowfalls.
  19. This far out the models are obviously going to change, but man have they been pretty consistent. This "looks" (if that is even possible this far out) like a storm that dumps a bunch of snow in southern MN and then has a pretty tight gradient to the north and west (about where I am located).
