  1. Yeah, there should have been a lot more snow. It sure was fun model riding and having so many chances all winter, but in the end I think the Tacoma and even Gig Harbor/Key Peninsula area did not do well with snowfall. Hopefully the next several winters will be great!
  2. I am going to speak for Tacoma, especially the west side. It has not been a good snow winter for us. Very frustrating. I have only had a little over 4" for the whole season. Even the "big" February event was just under 3" for my location in Fircrest. And yesterday was just snow mixed with rain here.
  3. I am a bit worried too. It has been snowing big wet flakes here off and on most of the day with nothing to show for it.
  4. I'm just south of the golf course and a block from University Place. And it is down to 34 now.
  5. Same here in Fircrest. Quite a bit of snow mixed in and temperature has dropped from 36 to 35. Hope this means that the cold air is arriving sooner than expected.
  6. Yeah, it is really a town and not a city as I mistakenly said. Population is about 8,000. My boss sure loves the place though.
  7. Sandpoint, ID, not far from Coeur d'Alene, is also a good area. My boss is retiring at the end of the month and is moving there. Gigabit internet from a company called Ting is coming soon to that city I hear.
  8. We were up in your area on the 29th and 30th and were surprised at the snow that was on the ground then. You must have gotten a lot more since! Very lucky. I have only had about 2" total for all of December in Fircrest--west of Tacoma.
  9. Finally turned to all snow here about 10 minutes ago. Too warm to stick with it being 35° currently. I'm at 340'. I apprecitate all the model analysis you guys do...and the comedy! Sure hope Jim gets some snow!
  10. Yeah, its gone from 36° to 34° so hopefully the snow will start falling soon!
  11. Here in Fircrest (West of Tacoma) it appears that a hole is opening up in the radar. I am going nuts watching what should be snow on the radar end up being nothing! Is this because of the dry air? Where is the band of snow that is supposed to be coming later tonight? It sure doesn't seem to be obvious on the satellite.
