Later next week looks nice, finally. I've enjoyed the cold wet weather but it's been since what, March or early April, since we've had any summery weather. Hopefully dew points aren't too low.

Pretty good thunderstorm moving through right now. I can see snow-covered Pikes Peak to the south, two rainbows, the Front Range, and it's raining heavily with some thunder and lightning. Weird.

Welp, it's raining again. Only one lightning strike and two really long rumbles of thunder so far. Tomorrow does look pretty juicy though...

Another cold and cloudy day today. It's 44F right now where I am and 42F at the airport. 32-34 degrees colder than Fairbanks. edit: 42F and drizzle now... Overall, it looks cool and wet here for the next 2-3 weeks. It'll be interesting to see how summer turns out after this past month.

Yeah I'm enjoying the PNW-like winter weather here. Only got up to the mid to upper 40s in Denver today. I was up in the Rocky Mtns on Saturday near Rainbow Curve and Bear Lake and it was snowing quite a bit. I can't imagine how much snow they have now up there with the recent big storm.

Took these today. The snowy ones are from 630am and then I went out a few hours later and took the others. It's sunny now so it's pretty strange seeing snow with such a high sun angle and strong UV.

I went driving for a bit and passed a bank temperature thing and it said -426F.

Almost all snow falling here now (just a couple miles west of Englewood). They just said about 45 minutes ago it would switch at 9pm. Looking good for high totals I guess...

The radar looks pretty impressive right now with that large area of heavy rain...wow. I was driving eastbound on 285 and I passed a car with about an inch of snow on its roof, so temperature is dropping pretty quickly I think... Meanwhile, it is pouring here and 40 degrees. edit: I'm just now starting to see some wet snow mixing in with the rain.

It's very green here now. Just beautiful on the C470 toward Golden this afternoon with the clouds and rain in the valley.

I am surprised at how wet it has been today. When I left work (near I-25/dry creek) at 530pm it had already been raining torrentially with lightning and some thunder, and continued to do so. It's just a light-moderate rain right now though but it sure feels like the PNW. Pretty large band of heavy precip moving north from the Springs...

Not much precipitation yet but it looks like Tuesday will be a good performer. Hopefully with plenty of thunder.

A decent lightning show to my south this evening. I have a good view of the south and took a video which I'll upload later. Not much thunder though since the storms are too far. I saw some purple cloud lightning but didn't get it on camera.

Gloomy and rainy today! It's been hovering in the low to mid 40s all day too. Visibility is a bit worse right now than shown in the image.

At this time yesterday it was heavy snow with huge flakes. Now I see a thunderstorm from my room to the south. I have a good view of it.

It's been snowing all day although most of it has fallen with temperatures above freezing. At least the roads aren't icy.

Really nice day here today with H/L of 70/28 for DEN. Tomorrow should be warmer so not as nice I guess. Cold/wet system on cue for Thursday yet again.

It's interesting how for the past few weeks we've had some wet/cold shot come in around Wed-Fri time frame. Every week. Hopefully this next one is snowier than the last.

Getting some good rain now and had a little thunder and lightning about an hour ago. Finally some rain!

Starting to look a bit greener lately even though it's been very dry. I miss rain so hopefully this spring and summer deliver the goods.

I was up closer to downtown and there was more snow around there than here in Parker. Little to no accumulation here.
