    Uh huh. I think everyone here is aware of the nature of the warmth as it's been a frequent topic of discussion. Probably because it was somewhat unprecedented. Those kinds of things tend to get some play around here.

    Even better, Pasco hit -19 for an all-time record low two days from now in 2004. It can happen in January pretty recently!

    To be fair, he didn't say there would be no Arctic air late in December but that it would mainly go east. As it turned out it was able to dig west while the following progression just didn't quite have what it took to get its together.

    You're barking up the wrong tree. I have felt for a while this was going to be a quiet winter on the whole. With three cold snaps under our belt already it certainly doesn't put odds in our favor given the rhythm of things lately. For the 12th time since your rebirth, down boy.

    I think most of this is common sense, but Philly Cheesesteak tends to forget who his audience is and also knows too well that he can pander to it for some much needed attention. All that aside, his prog was well-articulated, fairly consistent and accurate.

    Personally I think you have nothing to be ashamed of. Any nitpicking at this point is just weenie frustration kicking in. It's clear things seemed to derail at the last minute. happens. That said, the 2008 tabloid stuff was dumb and undercut (weather reference!) the rational nature of your progs to that point.
