  1. So it that is progging PDX at 7 inches then that means there will be more moisture available up north of there compared to today.
  2. I am not worried about anything past Saturday night. It must be so easy for you to look at models and post the demise since you will be leaving for Hawaii soon. Good job.
  3. So you go from convinced that we should all follow the Euro to, everyone should follow the WRF GFS. What gives. The next couple days will be fun and interesting in alot of areas, hopefully here, but probably not. But for the sake of sanity please pick a model and stick to it and not pick one and then use another for fact.
  4. So this is 4 pm Saturday, looks good to me.
  5. This is encouraging from the GEM, considering it was the first to show the all south event that happened today.
  6. That is awesome. You have waited awhile for the gorge effect to work for ya.
  7. IR satellite is starting to look a bit intriguing as far as a further N push of moisture tomorrow. Edit: Nevermind, I just looked at the wide view of the pacific of the satellite, and it looks to be heading for Oregon full steam ahead.
  8. Thoughts go out to the GEM and Euro tonight, may they show some snow up this way to make up for this BS of an arctic pattern. I will be happy with 1/2 inch, or like I said earlier flurries.
  9. 00z sucks, might get some flurries tomorrow evening though, so not a complete wash. Although, it does show the potential to put some more moisture up this way. Unless the Euro shows that then I don't believe it.
  10. . Its only out to 24 hours, and nothing to note yet.
  11. Yea, but you have 782 total and most are for no reason. LOL Sorry Tim. Couldn't resist!
  12. I am still holding out hope for tomorrow night for an inch or two, if the 00z GFS shows something tonight like the 18z did and the Euro can somehow show something then we may be in business. I will say though, the Euro showed 1/2-1 inch for here tonight and the radar echoes have not been anywhere near me and its mostly clear out. So I am not so sure how confident I am with any model for tomorrows situation.
  13. Well I am glad to report that its down to 21 here, mostly clear sky and not one flake, whoopty doo. However, I threw some water on our driveway around 6 and its frozen solid already, my daughter is ice skating with her my little ponies now. Had to get creative.
  14. I would be happy with a 10 minute flurry blowing in the wind at this point. NWS has me at 30% tonight for a half inch. Looking at satellite I am struggling to figure out how its not 0%.
  15. I didn't say I don't think it can change. My opinion right now is from what the models are showing and have been showing consistently that last 2 days, except the EURO, which hopefully gives us more hope tonight.
  16. It would interesting if it was a region wide snow event being shown.
  17. It does not even show precip of any kind Saturday.
  18. WRF is a big pile of s**t for snow up here.
