    I was 14 and recorded a whole bunch of news footage from that event. Sadly it was lost though.

    One of the best busts in a good way that we have had. I just remember nothing good in the forecast after the inch of snow we had around the 22nd or 23rd. It was a complete shock to me while at Christmas dinner at my grandparents (the lake house) as my grandma had the radio on playing Christmas music and they did a quick forecast during a break and they had issued a winter storm warning pretty much out of nowhere. I raced home to turn on my weather radio and the weather channel along with NWCN...the next few days that followed were one for the books!

    January 2011...Tim had just told his wife’s co workers that we were about to face cold and snow that we hadn’t seen since 1950, NWS Seattle mentioned 1950 in their discussion...the forum was riding high on the massive possibilities...and then the 0z GFS came out and things went down the toilet from there.

    Took this pic today while at the hospital in Everett picking up my dad, he was on the 10th floor with an amazing view of the cascades. He’s glad to be home however!
