  1. Will be interesting to see which one of us ends up with more snowfall this winter...
  2. Hey we have about same amount of snow in our yards! Probably same totals for the winter too(except mine took 3 months to get there).
  3. Weird snow map, does it jog ESE once making landfall? Those Central OR amounts don't make a lot of sense unless it's all from southerly flow
  4. How to forecast like Seattle NWS: case 1) Models show snow over CWA to the south - nothing to worry about it will be dry and chilly. case 2) Models show snow over CWA - low will trend north, maybe some rain/snow mix over Bellingham, but very unlikely to see accumulations below 1000 feet.
  5. LIke I said 00Z runs were critical. Now on to 12z, still critical runs!
  6. I wish it was warm enough to snow here everyday! We had so many sub 20 highs with wind chill here, but only 10" of snow to show for it.
  7. An inch forecast for tonight, but we already got that much today and early this evening by wringing moisture out of arctic air. I think we will get another 1 to 2 in tonight, finally a decent refreshing.
  8. A week without snow, and you guys are already back to fighting... Didn't think it would take that little time
  9. Amazingly we still haven't had a raindrop in February. Will probably change with some freezing rain tonight, but we might get some non-winter rain instead if the sun stays out all day.
  10. But 1500 cattle lost in Sunnyside due to Blizzard conditions
  11. So Redding is getting the isothermal serving of snow that should have been delivered to PDX last night?
  12. South wind @ around 20mph(pretty brisk for the least windy valley in a long radius) keeping us in mid 30's and DP in 20's at night. Wouldn't be able to tell that it's above freezing when you look outside unless you were looking at an arterial road though.
  13. Pasco is at 28F and -SN with 925mb temps at +1C and 850mb at -2C. Other locations in the basin with precip are UP and Rain(Richalnd Prosser respectively). Kinda cool how warm air made it to Yakima valley but not to Pasco...
  14. Well maybe it won't melt, but the ugliest part of melting will be done in a week or two when you're back unless February is a permanent reload month(which is possible for North Bend, not gonna lie).
  15. Good timing man. You got to witness the storm, leave before roads are closed down, and not even have to watch it all me.t
  16. https://www.wrh.noaa.gov/mesowest/timeseries.php?sid=ODT13&num=72&banner=gmap&raw=0&w=325 All eyes on Hillsboro and Forest Grove in next 2 hours or so...
  17. Isn't that a 360hr map and only a small anomaly over PNW?
