  1. Amazing what a little tequila on an empty stomach can do. My posts last night were lol.
  2. I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or if you think that actually has a chance at verifying.
  3. This was the December CFS forecast. Oops! http://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww243/phillywillie/Mobile%20Uploads/71173A41-8B50-4C9C-9A2C-F40BF6CC758B_zpsju7wm3yd.jpg
  4. Well, you both constantly complain about warmth and overheating, view the world in black and white, and insult me on a regular basis. Bad joke but still has some merit.
  5. The day 16 GEFS is going nuclear with the Scandi-Eurasian wavebreak. That's the ideal loading pattern for a -AO/weak PV down the road. http://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww243/phillywillie/Mobile%20Uploads/CA0441A8-000F-44E0-B30B-76ED0525C0C7_zpsftz8d2ue.png
  6. NAMT is an acronym for North American Mountain Torque. As I'm sure you know, the mountain and frictional torques are exerted on/by the planetary surface on a particular axis and, long story short, disperse energy in such a way that the spatial distribution of atmospheric mass is affected. Here's a good paper on what I'm referring to over the Pacific domain: http://journals.ametsoc.org/doi/abs/10.1175/1520-0493(2003)131%3C2608:MTGFTA%3E2.0.CO%3B2
  7. Yeah it was good. And much to fat squirrel's dismay, the AO was notably lower this run versus 18z. Me thinks it matters.
  8. NAMT: North American Mountain Torque EAMT: East Asian Mountain Torque The interactive relationship between these two dynamic effects is a major player in the NPAC/EPO/WPO state.
  9. Haha, Eurasian wavebreak in the clown range! That'd put this regime on roids..I don't think the Arctic chill is going anywhere anytime soon.
  10. That's one heck of a -EPO block. Would be up there with the strongest December blocks on record there. Just keeps the Arctic floodgates open without relent.
