  1. I really can't believe that the Portland NWS issued a WWA for widespread 1 to 2 inches. At this point they just seem like a bunch of weenies praying for snow every event. It seems kind of irresponsible for the general public. People will be all mad that the ground is bare.
  2. I'm definitely going to be building a 10 foot snowman in my backyard by Saturday morning,
  3. This definitely might turn into a very good snow pattern for Portland.
  4. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see this turn into a PDX snowstorm midweek. These things can trend fast once the models get a handle on what is going on. February 2014 please.
  5. You are secretly crying right now and care way more about this model run than anyone else. You just try to hide it with all of these over the top posts.
  6. The southern stream pushes up some warmer air in this run making late week much warmer in the upper levels. Should be interesting to see if Euro begins to show this.
  7. It certainly looks very different. I don't think it would really much be warmer at the surface. This is probably going to turn into February 2014 at the last minute.
  8. You are SO much worse than Tim ever has been. Oh, you added a winkey face. Never mind.
  9. A new development is a weak low kind of sits at the southern Oregon coast for a while. Southern Oregon coast snowstorm????
  10. I honestly think the disaster associations should start shipping in caskets NOW.
  11. I think the morning rush hour will be pretty light in Portland on Monday!
  12. Beautiful. It shows the Northern Oregon coast getting hammered. The Portland metro area also gets into the action with 4-7 inches.
  13. True. Has it always been this bad? I feel like it has almost been unreadable for the last couple of days. Maybe I'm just getting older.
  14. Why? Nothing much has changed yet. It looks cold and then a chance of an overrunning event next weekend. That is basically all we know at this point. Doesn't sound too terrible.
  15. Looks like all snow up in Washington. The Portland area would probably have some cold rain/mix sandwiched between the snow with a little bit of southerly wind.
