  1. That low sure ends up giving Oregon moisture for a long time. Might be valley flooding with all the rain going on top of melting snow/ice.
  2. The latest WeatherBell map of the GFS shows me getting 7 inches of snow. I would take that.
  3. Clear and calm winds here. Going to get pretty cold. Just hit freezing for the first time this winter!
  4. It is going to be the most detailed and beautifully written discussion ever released.
  5. Yeah, today has nothing going for them. Tomorrow should be quite a bit cooler with offshore flow and a colder night.
  6. Doubt it. A changeover is still going to happen, but it could be put off a little bit.
  7. Hmmm. The Euro is pretty interesting for Portland. Probably less of a quick warming shot with that weaker low structure like that. Could stay snow for a while.
  8. Trust me, I am still rooting for a bunch of snow. Just hope the school district is smart and doesn't get a bunch of people stuck at schools.
  9. At this point I am just worried about going to work on Thursday because the schools will see no snow at 6 am. Then it will snow mid morning and I'll be stuck there for a horrible commute home. I hope the school districts are wise enough to cancel school if it still looks like a sure thing Wednesday night.
  10. Looks like Portland finally lost the south wind a few hours ago. Offshore gradients should slowly start to build today before really increasing tomorrow.
  11. Yeah, the recent model trends for the low is really great for the Seattle area. Never goes north of them. It would mix Portland out pretty good Thursday afternoon.
  12. I have definitely noticed that in some of the models. Forest Grove should do well like they always do.
  13. It is raining, but some of the rain drops are slightly thicker than the average rain drop.
  14. I'm too old to play this game. Better to ignore the radar and hope you wake up to a small surprise.
  15. Pretty surprising, but exciting! Lots of moisture. today helped keep it cool.
  16. It was just a bit too warm. I have seen plenty of snowflakes, but never really 100% snow.
