  1. I have a quick question for anyone that can answer my question: I noticed today that Lake Superior is not frozen and Lake Erie is frozen. So, why is Lake Superior not frozen?
  2. I heard that it will be a major snowstorm for the east coast instead. Still plenty of time for models to bring the storm back.
  3. East coast about to get hammered today and tonight. New York City and out on the island will be in the brunt of this storm with accumulations over a foot of snow with near blizzard conditions. Other cities such as Washington DC, Philly and Boston are in for a lot of snow too. Brutal temps there during the storm, probably in the low teens.
  4. I am currently seeing light snow and starting to whiten up everything.
  5. Big cities on the East Coast are about to get a big snowstorm tomorrow into Wednesday morning with 6-12 inches. Cities that will get heavy snow and strong winds are DC, Philly, NYC and possibly Boston. Bullseye I think will be from DC, CNJ NYC and Long Island. Blizzard watches could be posted later on today.
  6. My snow cover currently with yesterdays and previous snows is now 7inches or so. Not bad.
  7. If this baby can jog a little bit to the north, I am in business.
  8. Yup...local mets failed. I received 4.5 inches of snow yesterday and throughout the whole event. They were calling for under an inch. Big time bust!
  9. This clipper for Sat needs to go further north, or else I am getting zilch. Hopefully it does.
  10. WOW...I ended up with 2.5 inches and still snowing likely. Where did this come from??..Forecasters were forecasting snowshowers today with no accumulations.
  11. Tom..I only see 6inches for my area if I am not mistaken, which doesnt seem like a monster. Correct me if I am not reading this properly. It looks a lot more for the East Coast folks. No?!
  12. Im thinking I get an inch or 2 with tomorrows clipper. Most likely more the further north you go.
