  1. Monday could be a record heat day for me with a forecast high of 93 (91 in 1988 is previous record). Then there is also a chance of t'storms too.
  2. Wow. The last sub-50 high in June I had in K-Falls was 47 on 06/01/2011 and that was a very abnormally cool Spring. Also a fact that this was the only sub-50 here in well over 20 years. In June 2008 I didn't have any highs that cool and I'm higher in elevation.
  3. Predominantly an overcast day with a few very light showers passing through. I've had a chance of storms for the last few days but it hasn't delivered so far. Been going on my latest date without a t'storm personally for a bit (June 6th) and the days keep counting. 60/33 today.
  4. Got close to a couple storms today. Earlier a few CG's near K-Falls just to the east, now my west side sky is really dark. I hope I get something later.
  5. High winds outside in Klamath Falls. Way abnormal sounding gusts for the month of June. In my experience here in the summer only a t'storm should be producing these. Had my window partially open and I was woken up pretty abruptly. The curtains were whipping around. Paper items ended up scattered. I need to make sure, is it February or beginning of summer? (rubs eyes) Good front! (airport only reports G31, hell no, not that low at my house)
  6. If I recall in 2011 locally, August and September were the warmest of the J/A/S period.
  7. Nope. I saw flashes late on May 4th to my NW but too far away to hear rumbles. That was a widespread event but mostly they climbed the cascades and Rogue Valley had a few storms.
  8. Good chance I beat my personal latest first t'storm which was 06/05/2011 here since I moved to town. I was pretty close to a storm yesterday. Just within an inch...
  9. Weather trivia May 31st 20 years ago... The one and only time a Tornado Watch was issued for NE Oregon and Eastern Washington.
  10. Okay, onto June! Warm or cool month? Oh btw, here's a rainbow from earlier this evening to kick off the new thread. :v This one lasted a half hour. Very rare for a bow to last longer than 10 minutes in this area. http://i.imgur.com/GkICjYH.jpg http://i.imgur.com/lddDFKL.jpg http://i.imgur.com/zbN3PC2.jpg http://i.imgur.com/iijFogD.jpg http://i.imgur.com/tyo6OG4.jpg
  11. Raining moderately to heavily in Klamath Falls, in late May. That is not too common. It is noisy enough outside with the window open that it woke me up.
  12. Tomorrow begins my numerous chances for storms. Most of this week hopefully there will be convection in the area. But tomorrow shall be the highlight as of now.
  13. J/A/S Mean in K-Falls is only +0.9. Pretty much normal. July by itself was actually -1.1. The only 2 warm months here last year were April and November. Edit: My bad, -0.4 was J/A/S here. J/J/A period was +0.9. So it was actually cooler than I thought.
  14. Gusty today in my area. KLMT read a gust of 30 recently. Probably 35-40 up the hill.
  15. Extremely dry humidity here. Below 20%. That better change if I want booms later in the week.
  16. High of 83 at KLMT (but haven't seen the 6 hour max yet). The record is 87 in 2001.
  17. What I hate is withdrawal from thunderstorms. I'll endure 100 degrees if it means I get my fix at the end of the tunnel. Jokes aside... lol I guess when I was younger I sorta complained about it being hot but now I could care less. I see it too around me. Full grown adults who do not have a middle ground for weather.
  18. I would welcome another 1995 despite that year having cool downs. I'm sure you know my reason why by looking at my username.
  19. Yes it was overall. Just that some of the afternoons that are rainy/cooler are almost entirely inevitable at some point in June. Years like 2015 are the huge exception.
  20. Some chances of convection mid-late week. Hopefully I can grab a couple storms before the end of May. I'll even accept the very low end types as long as I get some action!
