  1. I checked and KHIO was 33 today. Now I know they can tend to be colder than PDX but c'mon -13 colder is a but much. LOL
  2. My parents' car thermometers are usually a bit warm. 44 should translate to 40-39
  3. Observations stopped updating at 8am this morning. Illuminati confirmed again.
  4. 5.70" of snow accumulation today. Most of it was from midnight to 8am. Took these shots just after 8am when it stopped snowing. http://i68.tinypic.com/30l09ww.jpg http://i64.tinypic.com/20a6hcp.jpg http://i66.tinypic.com/2ntv2c7.jpg http://i64.tinypic.com/13yf12p.jpg http://i66.tinypic.com/154asee.jpg
  5. You mean Spring goes through April and then 2nd Spring lasts until mid June. LOL
  6. You guys are in a warning and I'm only in an advisory (and probably will get more snow). That shows the differences in standards between there and here.
  7. Altocumulus Undulatus Asperatus this afternoon as the snow slowly approaches. Not quite as defined as other occurrences but it looks nice. I seem to get this more often than years ago, unless maybe I just either didn't notice as often or didn't look out at the right times as often.
  8. Tuesday night into Wednesday could be a decent snow producer for Klamath Falls. Zone forecast calls for 4-5 inches overnight. For some reason Klamath Falls wasn't even mentioned in the Winter Storm Watch for this region (maybe an oversight?). Snow level drops to 3200 which would be the lowest so far this season.
  9. Even sweeter when only one person on this blog is getting snow and doesn't even crave snow in the first place. (me)
  10. Often in region wide events I'll get less than folks in the lowlands will. In Feb 2014, Salem got freaking 5-6x more snow than I did.
  11. I don't mind it snowing. Just not my favorite type of weather. lol And when I get months like last Dec it looks impressive on facts and figures. What I will hope for is walking-friendly conditions, no ice.
  12. Think southern OR gets a decent amount of snow or is it not looking very big here yet?
  13. It's looking increasingly likely that by the end of December I'll have more than the monthly normal snowfall in Klamath Falls. Maybe 15-18" or more. But probably not a Dec 2015 repeat. So that's where blizzard and tundra went!!
  14. Now only tiny bits of snow left in Klamath Falls after all that rain and 40's a bit ago. My yard is now 100% void of snow. But that is soon to change.
  15. Nothing is certain yet. I'm betting we'll still see runs hinting at cold again. ^ and this is why it isn't certain at all at this point. Thanks BLI for pointing this out
  16. Weak. Try a straight garlic bulb or some very spicy stuff like habanero pepper (my dad will eat these straight LOL).
  17. Lack of thunderstorms on the east slopes are also a known cause of depression
  18. Nice 0.37" of rain at KLMT from 5pm yesterday to 6am this morning. I love this, need more rain. There is such thing as occasionally. Once a week or so doesn't make someone an alcoholic.
  19. Not sure why NWS Medford had a winter weather advisory up until 10am this morning above 4000 feet here. It was raining all night and all this morning. This is one advisory they messed up. I could imagine snow up to 5000 ft.
