Amazing the difference though east of our cascades when talking cold. I can work outside over there with a hoodie and jeans at ten degrees and it feels fine but over here doing the same thing at 35 degrees feels colder to me.

Iv'e ridden snowmobiles many times at -10 or so and it was tolerable but minus 50 would be insane. Humans were not built for that kind of cold.

Feels like the old days. we are at the 3 day model back off time then late tomorrow it will trend better. Watch.

Very interesting 18z. Stronger low that stays out in the ocean longer pumping moisture in. The rough snow map does show more snow for Western Wa than the 12z.

I can remember back in the day i would listen to the weather radio and the marine forecast always came out first so if there was snow in that forecast we were golden!

Even going west it will still be ok because of the depth of the cold air it has to draw from. Maybe rain at the coast but shoud be fine inland.
