Yes Andrew. I was in Madras again all morning and it didn't get above freezing. As I drive south towards Redmond on my way home the temp jumped from 31 to 48 at the high bridge "Crooked River Crossing" and continued to ride to about 55 as I hit Redmond about 6 miles later. Crazy inversion going on there today. I believe it's all gone now as the winds cleared out the muck.

The LR ensembles are still meh. I see one member down to -6c and for the most part the mean only gets us to climo. Pretty bad when in the heart of winter we can't even get a carrot out that far. It's been pretty bland here in Redmond this "winter" as well.

Meaning I've seen the pdx airport delay flights for flurries let alone an all out snowstorm. My brother was suppose to leave on December 20th 2008 at 9am and his flight was cancelled so the next flight out he got was December 26th. He was flying to St. Louis but they didn't have bad weather at the time. Just a memory these days.

Weird that your flight actually left that day with a foot of snow falling. Unless you had left earlier in the day?

Now snowing in Redmond. I seen it was snowing in bend most of the afternoon and now the temp is good for it here. Should compile an inch or two by morning just enough to make my four year old happy as well as daddy. ''Tis the season!

Oops sorry. I'll respond directly. Windy here in Redmond today, highest gust was 44 IMBY and I didn't enjoy it. Rained 0.02 and it made it a little worse.
