2” here which is way better than nothing. Seems like this might be a year where we struggle to get anything meaningful in my area. Hoping for something better, I will say this if we would have gotten what was being shown today it would have been difficult getting home. It was a struggle just with the minimal amount we got.

Yeah I’m waiting to see what GID does. Amounts for my area have been climbing since this morning. OAX is going aggressive and Hastings has been the exact opposite ever since watches were posted. I wasn’t even in a watch and went from advisory to a warning within 6 hours!

Crazy how much this map has wobbled back and forth. The marking line still ends up being the platte river. Crazy how much that comes into play with these storms! Well will see what happens; things looking good for 4" in my area.

I was just upgraded to a warning and I live north of I-80. I’m not sure what to expect for my area. Things have been changing back and forth so much and I’ve been on the edge the whole time.

This was posted not long ago from the WPC. That looks like a pretty juiced storm system. Forecast is for 12 hours from now; will just be ringing in the new year!

Yes there was; or at least it came in more juicy to the north affecting my area. I'm riding the fine line; northern part of the county looking at 1-2" while southern part of the county looking at 3 maybe 5".

Maybe a tad over done? Models are really starting to come to a close agreement on the heaviest axis of snow that's for sure.

I’ll take a more west east based ejection of the low versus the cutter. That would be a more share the wealth for sure much like the ukie is showing for most of use. Hoping that’s the trend and not suppression.

Please just give me at least an inch. Nothing worse than bitter cold with no snow.

That center came right through my area too. Was literally like being in a hurricane except dust, smoke and not much rain was on the other side of the wall!! The sun peaked out and was pretty much calm as it passed over.

Just an insane day! I was forced to have my basketball practice this morning; then our admin made the call for an early out. I get home with my girls at 1:45 and watch as storms begin to blow up to my southwest. An hour later we are put into our first of what is 4 tornado warnings for my county. Loose power; wife makes it home at 4 and identifies my neighbors tree fell over and took out the power line. Finally get the power company here and watch as they fix the line; waiting patiently in the eye of the storm. Winds then turn to the northwest; ushering in blowing dust and it becomes too unbearable to stand outside anymore. Finally get power back at 7:45 and now I watch this historic storm unfold down stream. Hope everyone is ok; this is one is for the ages guys! Can't wait to see this thing cycle back the next couple times. Gonna be a wild mid winter and spring.

Yep we through my area and multiple reports of spin ups. The main line had crazy rotation as it went over my area. My neighbors tree fell down on our power line and have been out of electricity since 3:00. Hard telling when they get back to fix it as my county has multiple lines down.

Moisture is streaming northward through my area. Winds gusting to 30 out of the north northeast. Grid has me getting 1-3" of snow and it will all be melted by sunday afternoon!

How deep is your snow pack? Not a whole lot of energy in the sun as we approach the winter solstice in a couple weeks. If anything your snow pack should be in pretty good shape. Maybe a little melting/refreezing will help turn it into a glacier!!

Right on. Check out what happned last year. The AO shot negative around the 1st of December. Once that happened we seen our snow. Check out how deep negative that thing got come Feb!!! I had highs below zero then. It will turn cold and snowy, only question is when will the teleconnections start playing ball!!!

I stepped out at 3 this morning but clouds had rolled in! I wasn't about to stay up and wait to see if they would go away so I went back to bed.......I really wanted to witness it though they are so cool!

Crazy awesome share the wealth storm! I ended with 2.1" of rain and that brings my total for the month of October to 3.6". Will see how this storm performs this coming winter; man that thing would have produced a boat load of snow!

The guy was chased out of town for what sounds like beating his wife. I always loved and admired Dean; after what I heard he did to his wife I'm shocked that anybody would have hired him.

Picked up another 1.75" earlier this morning. The lightning was absolutely incredible! I took a picture of the radar return as it was over my place. Loud, bright and the rain came down in sheets! August rain total is 8.85"!!!!
