  1. Being next to a giant warming ocean which moderates temps doesn’t help. Neither does our access to Arctic air being further cut off every year.
  2. Pretty sure the 2011 stuff was a way bigger deal further north. There were some localized flurries in and around Dallas.
  3. Again, depends on where you live. There were places near the Oregon coast that had a foot + in 2014
  4. Any guesses as to what the druncle is going to spit out?
  5. Fear instincts becoming too strong for sure. Powerful tactics to use against those who struggle to control it.
  6. And the King is currently still Joffrey-status so that needs to change bigly.
  7. Meanwhile more snoozetastic weather here. Record cold is a thing of the past for us.
  8. Kihei is so nice. Best 2 vacations I have ever taken. Life has made it difficult to get back right now but one day...
  9. I think folks Seattle north might get something marginal.
  10. The ol’ Jim Bosley KATU snow forecasts were always great. He loved drawing the huge block offshore with the fancy telestrator pen.
  11. Hey at least being stuck in the bed all day, I have some blue sky and sunshine outside the window to look at. Could be warm frontal drizzle.
  12. The only loser in 17-18 was the west central Willamette valley. Outside of that small area, everyone in the PNW has seen measurable snow since March 6, 2017. By 2022, I would expect the longest active snow drought to eventually move back to the south Oregon coast.
  13. This is what I'm talking about when I say it's hardly ever going to snow again in the low elevations and the summers are going to continue to get hotter and drier. You say by shear probabilities alone this has to flip for us one day...but it isn't.
