  1. No need for a night shift. Gonna turn in early most likely.
  2. With the way things have gone this winter, we have to judge these weather "events" on a relative scale.
  3. I don't see how it can be worse...which means it will be. Oh and I hope your body is ready for 40 90+ days from May-Sept.
  4. Welp, time to play some Red Dead. Models are depressing AF tonight.
  5. Some people drive across the state for other thrills too. Quite the waste of gas but there it is.
  6. Should at least get chilly. EUG at 25 freezes so far and downtown Springfield at just 21 (below average to this point) so hopefully we can pick up a sub-32 at night out of this stretch.
  7. Yup, ranking things on a local scale for the S valley since 1989 (when I moved to Oregon), if this verifies we would still be in 2015-16 territory for boredom, but it wouldn't be as bad as 91-92 or 14-15 here. Although 15-16 had a sub-freezing high which isn't in the cards here so a bottom 3 or 4 cold season is still possible.
  8. We will get a nice bounceback in 20-21 but until then it will feel like it might never happen.
  9. Shocker...we are way overdue for a hotter and drier than normal summer.
  10. 92-93 was a balls-to-the-wall memorable winter from start to finish here. I remember being in 2nd grade and feeling like it was snowing regularly and we lived in a different state.
  11. At least some good mtn snow hopefully. Would be worlds better than the shitshow the EC & EPS has.
  12. Oh well...let's see if my personal snowless streak can be broken next year.
  13. Evening GFS ensembles didn't really look all that different from the Druncle. No obvious signal for goodies but would be a coolish/seasonal pattern with valley rain and mtn snow (this will be the most likely outcome). Hopefully we can beat the odds.
  14. We still going to have a night shift tonight with the models back-pedaling?
