  1. AOC derangement syndrome should get a little boost in the coming months, I imagine.
  2. Snow in January! Is this unusual? Can't help but think the SSW and low solar could be the culprit...
  3. Hopefully if it is a multi year Niña we can finally score some nice cool/average warm seasons.
  4. Well then you are in for a surprise Andrew because it was!
  5. We hiked from the snow gate on Larch Mountain road down upper Bridal Veil Creek to Devil’s Rest, then across to Multnomah Creek, up Larch, and back down to our car yesterday. About 14 miles. Barely a lick of snow, just some icy patches above 3,500’
  6. I'm just glad your narrative has miraculously made it through this VERY threatening morning intact. Would hate for a break in the one note tune.
  7. I thought of that too ANdrew. Despite our differences at times I have always respected your knowledge of and interest in microclimates of our region
  8. I see a rain snow mix and a low of FREEZING on Tuesday.
  9. Springfield is way closer to EUG than it is to Creswell. Just sayin. I would hate to meet the version of Tiger who lives in Brookings, which is actually the worst town for winter weather in Oregon. Eugene/Springfield probably isn't even in the top 20.
  10. I'm not going to do a whole lot of digging but it seems to fit a theme.
  11. Made it down to 24 here this morning. Easily the coldest temp of the winter so far.
  12. Well someone had to say it. Obviously there are a lot of factors besides elevation that determines who does and doesn’t get snow. He knows that as well as anyone.
  13. Whenever Andrew complains about a run this time of year all it means is it shows less snow at his house.
  14. As hurt as I am by PDX's unforeseen journey to 50+ degrees today, it still was a nice once. Wintery with an east wind developing in the afternoon and low dps. Peaked at 50 here, already down to 38 this evening. Skies have cleared and the wind has died, so could be down to freezing by midnight.
  15. Looking very likely PDX hits 50 today, despite it not being shown on any guidance really.
  16. Now ur getting it :') Good chance we get to experience the joy of watching many stations gradually drop out of the top five warmest Januaries over the next week and a half, Andrew.
