Looks like March weather ahead.
-
I'm completely in favor of this. I never was a fan of setting the clocks back in the fall and making it dark when I get home from work.
-
Yes you did, cold soaker with some snow on the backside.
-
GFS keep trending colder for the late week storm.
-
The low here hit 6 this morning on my way to 32 this afternoon. Warm up gets going tomorrow as temps should make it near 60.
-
Thanks and it looks like I'll make a run at 70 later next week. Lets bring on Spring!
-
The AO and NAO are going negative around the 20th. Late March may really cold and snowy for the Lakes area and maybe for those further west.
-
Snowfall totals from around the area, I found myself in the perfect spot. The March sun is already going to work on the roads and current temp is 29.
-
Looks like I will finish with 26 inches for the season amazingly 25 inches fell in Feb-March 10th.
-
Got right at 9 inches. Great storm, the snowfall rates were way higher than I was expecting last night. It was very enjoyable to watch come down.

7 inches on the ground with heavy snow falling. I got to get out and enjoy it for awhile, very peaceful the wind has tapered off.
-
Moderate to heavy snow has been falling for the last few hours. This mornings snow had a lot of moisture but the snow this evening is dry and blowing around. Currently have 5 inches on the ground with a few more to come.
-
Dry air really cut your rates down this morning judging by the radar. Nice band developing south of the city right now maybe it will lift north enough.
-
Just under 4 inches here for round 1. Round 2 looking good on radar hopefully it can lift up into KC and add a little to their totals. I may be able to add on 2-3 more tonight.
-
3 inches on the ground and I could see an additional 3-5 by tomorrow morning. I feel better about my chances of with the second wave than I did yesterday.
-
Hopefully those bands out by Topeka will move over the city.
-
Yes we do, we'll just need to see how plays out it could be a rainer this time.
-
Radar looks great your way, heavy band of snow right along I-70.
-
Snowfall rate has been near an inch per hour. I would guess I'm 2 inches so far.
-
It's a nice snow to close out the Winter on and it will push us above average for the season. I think this will be our last snow and then it will be on to a very crazy severe weather season imo.
-
Snow has become much heavier, beautiful to look at. Around a 1/2in has accumulated so far with some heavy echoes getting ready to move through.
-
Light snow has started falling, here is the snowfall forecast from EAX.
-
Interesting how similar the HRRR and Euro are and how similar the SREF is to the GFS. Either way I-70 snowstorm still looks good. SREF at 10:1

Awesome, this turned into a great storm for you!
