So road conditions here are getting treacherous. The ice on the roads didn't fully melt from the rain last night and it prevented water runoffs from the rain and precipitation today so everything just puddled up. We've now about freezing and things are beginning to freeze up, I can see how shiny it is under the streetlights.

Wow wow wow. The car disappeared and the big SUV is barely showing.

CASAG will work just fine as well. Echos are probably gonna be a bit on the lighter side but it does cover the area nicely.

Welp. They won't fix it until the morning, guess we're flying blind tonight boys.

Yeah, KATX radarscope is definitely not working. Stuck at 17:05. UW radar shows it's stuck on similar loop. Looks like the Seattle radar is down.

Just got home and appears we received a light dusting of snow/hail/graupel from the showers earlier. Slowly building it back up!

Down to 34 at home and radar looks promising. Fingers crossed.

Down to 35! Hoping some of those showers make it up this way.

Yeah. I find that completely absurd as well. I think it was intended to be that way all along, they just used weather as an excuse. The other part is most likely Omnicron, they did mentioned that in the email.

Weird! I feel the same way as well! I hated multivariable so much but very much loved differential. Probability and statistics was also one of my favorite.

I think the online stuff was strictly for her program. They had initially split the courses 50/50 online and campus but moved towards all online for lectures. Labs and clinical remains on campus. I just find it weird that they cite weather rather than give the real reasons. I think most professors prefer online now since it’s convenient for them but not so much for the students imo.

North Seattle College? Are you mostly online for the rest of this month to start the new quarter? My wife is starting her nursing program Thursday at NSC and they just sent out an email yesterday saying classes are all online until Jan 31st. Reason behind it was weather, but seems odd.

I’m liking where temps are headed right now. Down to 36.

Have to keep a very close eye on this because EPSL is usually where it starts and if it’s cold enough and showers overperform, we could see an expansion into Seattle area. Have seen this multiple times.

We still have some ice here as well on the road ways that has not been cleared. And the drive way where we had solid sheet of ice from the broken pipe few days back is still frozen solid. Mid-30s is still solidly cold to keep some of the ice around. I think the next few days we could see that remain intact.

Sun is out as well. Just 30 mins ago it was pitch black.

Glad you didn’t roll the dices with the passes @TacomaWaWxlook like I-90 has been shutdown both directions since early this morning and no updates on when they’ll reopen.

The heavier showers really crash temperatures at home. Down to 35 under the heavier stuff and back up slightly after it passes. Still a solidly chilly day. Currently 37 at home and at work.
