  1. This AR is quite impressive.. keeps on pumping. Low is developing for the wind event tomorrow.
  2. As of 5pm, SEA 0.84" for the day. The 63F today was couple degrees shy of tying record high.
  3. Power went out in Bothell at my sister’s place.
  4. I just realized the 12z Euro has another AR coming in next Sunday. WTF?
  5. I think the consensus is probably going to be about 4" for the Seattle area.
  6. Really big 0z coming in. The models have yet to come to a resolution on how much rainfall Seattle will get. It's a tough situation mainly because of the Olympics rain shadow so it's kinda been flip flopping. Still a lot of uncertainty when the range given is 1.5" to 5".
  7. Always! Feel like I want to head up to Carnation.
  8. Snoqualmie river flood stage is 54ft. At 56ft there will be widespread flooding. The river is at 57.9ft with the next AR here already and the models are showing some insane numbers. This is a major problem.
  9. We're dealing with some fog and mist this morning. Low visibility. 46. I honestly don't remember when was the last time we had fog here. It's been a while.
  10. It happens and unfortunately, base on the WV trajectory of this system, it's going to come in a bit farther north to have an impactful event for PDX.
  11. Insinuating you get "table scraps" down there suggests otherwise.
  12. Go back a few pages in this thread and see that I posted the drought map for both OR and WA and have stated that OR do need much more rain than up here due to its drought conditions. I'm not being inconsiderate, I'm simply pointing out facts that some of you complain way too much on here as if it's still bone dry down there since fall began. Which is not remotely close to being true. I would love for the next AR to hit your area, but we can't control the weather.
  13. Should be. 4.77" for Nov is spot on. SEA is 5.05" for the month. Screwed.
  14. I can dig it up for you for Eugene.. just for November alone. Haven't had a dry day so far with nearly 5" of rain. Interesting!
  15. I'm sure you can dig it up. Report Eugene during this Sept 18 (from Tim's previous post) til now time frame or if it helps... go Oct til now. And let see.
  16. I think I drove by here this past summer to the falls and I could be wrong here but I don't recall any protective nettings in place to prevent rockslides. I could be, I just didn't remember seeing them. Perhaps the locals can attest.
  17. If you didn't know any better... sound quite arid down there.
  18. How is the drainage system being handled around there? This shouldn't be something new, did no one established a drainage system to a point where owners have to do it themselves to divert? Excuse my ignorant for asking since I've lived mostly in the city, so drainage and flooding is not much of a concern here on top of a hill. Everything flows quite adequately. We have seen worse as well.
  19. SEA is now over 5" for the month with 0.68" on the day. Closing in on 11" since Oct. 1.
  20. If you think the first 11 days was wet… check out 2006. My goodness. That’s almost 1” or rain each day.
  21. Nasty... however many hours of brief break is there we definitely need it. Our drainage system is fantastic here to handle the rain, but there is a limit.
  22. This looks surprisingly calm and peaceful. It's like one of those "Calm" ads. No winds, just nothing but rain drops. I actually like this.
  23. Anyone ready to scream mercy yet? Holy shiet. If the Euro hold serve as Renton said, I'm gonna be swimming. Well, maybe not... but D**n. I guess the one upside to all of this is it's going to reverse at some point and we'll get some legit cold shots right? Right?
