  1. White Turkey? And I don’t mean tofurkey either.
  2. Yeah...... And? I didn't have time after that. Wish I hadn't missed it.
  3. Jesus f’king christ…… didn’t have time for the forums for 1 day and missed all the juicy drama. Lol
  4. SEA with another 45mph blast this past hour. Landing at the airport must be a journey as of late.
  5. The closest thing we can do is have administrators of these forums do an IP check and possibly locate last known position. It’ll then maybe have to be reported to authorities. Don’t really know of anymore personal information from him other than he works at one of the local Fred Meyers in Tacoma.
  6. Yeah. Same here. Didn’t he say that he recently got an iPhone 13? Not really trying to think negatively here but a bit worried. Hopefully he’ll show up again soon.
  7. @GHweatherChrisapparently knows something we don’t
  8. EPSL is short-lived and not as strong. Advisory only until 10AM this morning.
  9. Did the mesoscales did better in forecasting this overall? Looks like forecasting wind is quite hard.
  10. This is crazy. Models were at a complete lost until the very last second? Crazy. it actually look like most of W.WA is under Wind Advisory and High Wind Warning.
  11. Expanded version of the Watches and Warnings. The Seattle area is now under High Wind Advisory. https://a.atmos.washington.edu/data/warning_report.WWA.html
  12. Randy @MossMan and a few others up north is gonna feel this one. This is actually quite a development with the high wind warning.
  13. Wind is more sustained now as opposed to being quite gusty from earlier. No more howling.
  14. Yup. It was a near miss… rain showers are a lot heavier now just after midnight.
  15. As posted earlier, the 39mph obs shown is under. SEA peaked at 45mph around 10-10:30.
  16. It’s starting to drizzle here and raining in Olympia. UW radar shows it should definitely be further north than that… but it’s also drizzling in Tacoma. A lot of these does get eaten up. The drizzling though is going to help saturate the air.
  17. hmmm!! I did not know that! Learned something new.
  18. That D**n standard time, it would’ve been midnight already!
  19. Watching the radar a bit closely right now for next hour because it’s going to determine if SEA stays completely dry today. With the roaring east wind, it’ll probably remain dry as some of this will get eaten up before reaches the ground, but gonna be close.
  20. We just topped 40mph and 45mph at SEA. Honestly, being on top of a hill, we’re a lot closer to SEA’s numbers. I need to get my new weather station up and going. It died over the summer and haven’t been bothered.
  21. I’m looking at WI in particular. Hope that finger is fine for someone! It’ll be D**n cold.
  22. Nevermind, false alarm. It’s still roaring outside. Picking back up.
  23. It’s calm down substantially for my area. No more prolonged howling. So it may be on the verge of being done. Been kinda worried we might lose power for the evening.
