    Models didn’t catch that at all for your area. This is why model riding is great but nowcast is better

    For the models, it's push. The GFS caught on at the 500mb level earlier than the Euro. The Euro then was very insistence with the southern track while the GFS was trying to figure this thing out. Winner will be Oregon folks.

    This is what I was thinking about the other day. Track of the storm might not change much but plenty of time for it to pack more moisture. Seen this many times before. The PS is by no means out of the game.

    Don’t know about last few winters but for my area, near Boeing Field we got the short end of the stick last season when it was snowy at the surrounding areas. We were then treated with a nasty ice storm.

    Getting to hear people speak about weather outside of this place is quite cringy and I’m glad to have found this place. We had an all employee meeting today with the CEO addressing the flight AK 1282 incident. Afterwards when we went back to the office and ppl getting lunch, they were all talking about a “blizzard” coming in Friday and how they plan on leaving early Thursday to go stock up for the weekend. Wanted to say laugh out loud so bad but instead I just walked away from everyone.
