    Wild, the next two weeks look horrendous. I guess we can watch the East Coast get blessed with cold and stormy weather. Just like last year.

    I love it, they said it would be a "soaker" in Portland but we have a whopping 0.03 inches. Why? I don't understand

    Not terribly. You guys got some stuff in December 2013 and February 2014, and our winter totals for 2016-2017 were actually very close to equal. You guys got snow last November and more of a "white Christmas" than we did.

    I'm tempted to. Perhaps that's what we need to get a 958 MB low barreling into Forks, WA. Will give Portland something it hasn't received in many years.

    Jealous :/ Don't remember the last time we had a good windstorm.

    It's awesome when it actually happens. This fall has been so horrid that we are not getting anything- no east wind, no south wind, no significant rain, and no substantial weather. I'm really worried for this winter. Also Seattle has gotten so many events that ended up busting for Portland. So many windstorms that flopped down here.

    Lucky Seattle weather fans, enjoy your storm. It'll be a while before us Portlanders get anything substantial, like always.

    So, I see Seattle is getting a little wind event, enjoy. Looks like Portland gets left out. Again.

    I hate this fall so far. Nothing the least bit exciting has happened, and I really hope it's not an indication of how winter will be.

    I'm quite bummed out by this weather. It appears the first two weeks of November will be just as boring as October has been.

    Ugh, GFS has scaled down on the Atmo. River this Sunday, but I'm sure it'll bounce back.

    Hello everyone! Have been a member of the FOX12WeatherBlog for sometime and lurked on here for a while, but I decided to finally make an account and join in on the fun. The front later today looks juicy, with the possibility for .5-2 inches. Rain is already falling here in Portland.
